I made couple of booties to hubby last year and he wore it almost every day. I thought he can live without me but not without his booties. Booties got their well deserved rest and shelf time during summer. Unfortunately we got a very little summer this year with rain and gale. By the time he started wearing them again in autumn they were pretty much in the end of their life. He has been asking…

Thanks again gals
I was super surprised when my friends celebrated my bday in advance  today. I wasn’t expecting and completely forgot that that big day is coming. I went on a coffee date with my girlfriend and she led me to this party. It was amazing and am surprised how they managed to arrange all those. Love you all gals. And a special thanks to Mr. J for running around the town for the beautiful cake.Â

I try my best to steer clear of ‘bread’. No offense here, I like flavored or…

Friend's birthdayÂ
Friend’s birthdayÂ
Today we celebrated a friend’s birthday 2 days in advance. Mrs S is an amazing and strong woman. She is a proud mother of 2 beautiful boys. Somehow she surprises me with lovely Indian breakfast, idly and sambar on the days I am feeling low.  We wish you a very happy birthday. May all that you wish come true.Â

Kale & Quinoa patty
Well what a better way to stay a day them with a healthy and tasteful breakfast. Yes I did say the ‘H’ word. But believe me this is a yummy patty. And guess what, with a slice of bread /bun and hummus spread it is one hell of a breakfast. I start my weekday at 5:45am. Rush to work with just a cup of coffee. By the time I reach work n settle down to take a bite it will be well into half past 8. I…

@deweymay requested fingerless gloves.  So today that’s the one we go for. Going to do my best to hit a wide variety of styles and techniques.  Fortunately, there’s a whole lot of these patterns to choose from. Â
