Soda? Mich hopped down the beam, legs flexing with the fal to cushion the sting. Then he straightened, almost giving a hop with it. “Soda sounds good.”

Smiling, the Scout moved slightly to one side with a motion of her elbow toward the exit and into the kitchen area of the base. “I left some in th’a fridge.” Not minding really that he was quiet enough in conversation, the Scout was just content to have him come down and stop copying her.

Michael was still wary. His line of work kept him from trusting anyone too fast. The little Spy trotted to the fridge, opening it and fishing two soda cans. Wrapping one can around with his tail, he handed it over to the Scout, while stil rumaging in the fridge.
