Finally got around to doing the rear fender on my apocalypse rig. Need to do some wiring. Next project is the front fender. Rally Tower, then wiring and cleanup.

Finally got around to doing the rear fender on my apocalypse rig. Need to do some wiring. Next project is the front fender. Rally Tower, then wiring and cleanup.
Picked up an apocalypse rig. KLR 250. Trying to build a rally tower out of broken kayaks I picked up.
Update: I installed all the Pyranha Connect 30 gear I could in the Riot Disco. Can’t wait to get it out to the river.
Parts: Seat, step pillar, foam pillar, rail, hip-pads, straps & bottle/sponge/throw-rope pillar bungee.
I picked up a “Broken” Riot Disco kayak. It was stripped of all the outfitting(seat, pillars & drain plug). I’ve been hoarding kayak outfitting from other kayaks. So I set up a rail form a Gus, foam pillars from random kayaks, drain plug from a Savage Scorpion & a foam seat, made out of old pillars. I had to close some bolt holes from the all seat rails. Then hit the water. it worked well I liked it. But I just received a few bits of a Piranha connect 30 outfitting. A few screws, the seat, the rail, and the step out pillar. I couldn’t help myself. I had to give it a try, knowing that I might F up a good set of outfitting. It fits real well. So tomorrow I’m going to drill four holes in the boat. Two for the seat and two for that step out pillar. I think it’s worth it. Either way it’s new life for a discarded kayak. I wanted to float one of these for 25 years. It’s been a good time.
On a side note: Binks the cat approves. He’s telling me get rid of the foam and in with the more “modern” Piranha outfitting.
DIY kayak hand-paddles.
Didn’t need a prophecy to see someone left a neutron bomb in the toilet. What an asshole.
Working on a moose skull made from a broken kayak and paddle skateboard truck and other sports equipment even have a broken handrail not done but shaping up.
Damnit Grandpa No Paparazzi!!
