My first ever embroidery project that isn't visible mending or stuffed animal related.

Since it's my first time doing something like this it's a bit of a mess and I couldn't figure out how to finish off the edges so I just did a very tight blanket stitch around it.

Ended up not being able to lay flat at all but I still like it. Should probably apply a backing or something to prevent the warping before I remove it from the hoop next time.

thog has started to add a crochet border !! i got the idea from a pin on pinterest of a pokemon piece, and when i investigated, i found the actual artist's instagram, "milkteacub"--you HAVE to check out their work, it's so gd cute 😭
