The card which I had almost abandoned, twice. First was after I realised I had missed the linkup for the @ellenhutsonllc #mixitupchallenge with @concordand9th and second was when I realised the cardstock I had used isn't going to hold up the distress ink blending - the blue portion started to peel and disintegrate. Nonetheless, I still decided to put it together, just for remembrance sake as I had this idea for the card immediately when I saw the challenge theme. Made this card for the @altenewllc August 2016 Inspiration Challenge. Trying out some ink blending.. Inspired by @thecoloursofmagic recipe but I didn't have scattered straw so I substituted it for dried marigold. The worn lipstick got contaminated after i tried to went back in for a 2nd coat. Lesson learnt! Also..this canson watercolour paper seems alittle rough for this.
