Pearl chat and Cleo chat are such different vibes lol. Pearl has basically no moderation and today when people were backseating her building and the rest of chat is telling them to stop, Pearl was very gently like “No it’s fine I’m glad people are enthusiastic and want to contribute! I don’t mind explaining stuff I explained earlier in stream! It’s all good! I don’t want people to think I’m shutting down suggestions!”. And also like, nicely explaining that if Bdubs or someone killed her horse (Jose) she wouldn’t find it funny and would probably be actually upset. She’s got automod on and basically chat regulating itself by calling people out when they’re being too disruptive.

If you tried that in Cleo chat, either the backseating or the correcting someone on the streamer’s behalf, one of their mods would snipe you in an instant. They had a ton of viewers on stream yesterday so their chat was in 30 second slow mode and the mods kept sending messages reminding people of the rules they agreed to when they decided to chat, and deleting messages and stuff.

I’m not saying one way is better than the other, it’s just such completely different vibes moderation wise! Pearl is just depending on her own personal good vibes and whatever automod catches to keep chat in line. Cleo’s mods are ready to delete your message before Cleo even sees it. Pearl is trying to gentle parent her chat into being nice. CamronJK (and Cleo’s other mods I just saw Camron doing it the most) has a gun and is ready to kill you.
