A small sob left Deceit as he clung onto his Partner Remus, his body trembling violently as he was hit with a very sudden, and oddly painful coldness. Remus was panicking after multiple failed attempts to make the half snake man warm again, he hasnt seen Deceits snake like cold bloodedness effect him this badly! Never to the point it was hurting him and making him cry! "*I-It's ok Bleppy... I-I got you, I don't-...*"
Remus looked around the room rapidly, hugging and keeping Deceit close to hus chest in hopes his own body heat could warm the snake. "It's not ok! I'm hurting Remus and I don't know what to do!" Deceit cried, hiding his face in Remus' chest in desperation to become warm.
After a few moments, Remus got an idea and quickly summoned a blanket.
It had a small wire with a controler attached with a few numbers, he put it to the highest. "*Don't worry Dee, I got you.*" he waited a moment for the heated blanket to start before he softly set it over both him and Deceit.
"W-What? We tri-... We tried blankets.." Deceit said, his own words cut off by his sobs. He went wide eyed as he felt the blanket warm up and instantly ducked into it. He squeaked and curled up in the warm blanket. "*keep your head out, I wanna see you.*" Remus said, slightly lifting the blanket to see Deceit, getting a hiss in reaction, he chuckled.
Deceit layed his head on Remus' chest, closing his eyes as his trembling began to ease, allowing him to relax. Remus soflty removed Deceits hat and placed it on his own head, bringing his hand up and softly lacing his hand through the snakes hair in pets. He sighed in relife as he soon heard Deceit begin to purr, a very obvious signal he was alright.
Remus let himself relax as he listened to the purring, closing his eyes as wrapped his arm around Deceit. After some time, the two men fell asleep under the blanket, the soft sound of thier breathing and Deceits purring being the only thing heard. Soft smiles on both thier faces.
