Makoto Naegi
"H-Hey, let's not jump to conclusions!! I wasn't even able to finish my observations.. Everybody is innocent until proven guilty!!" Makoto spoke out trying to be the mediator and keep the peace, clearly shaken by the sudden accusation thrown on your name. Though he was slightly upset at the blame being directed at you.
Makoto considers the possibility that you could've been the killer, but he doesn't believe in it until the evidence starts to add up. He doesn't doubt that you wouldn't murder, but his feelings mix with his logic. So he'll interrogate you and ask you questions just to clear your name and simmer down the other students before the accusations go to far.
You can tell Makoto's struggling to keep his hope up, but after debriefing the case he's much more relieved. Makoto is just glad all that all the blame is no longer directed onto you, now that he cleared your name of course. He really is the lucky student from dodging an accusation on your name.
Kyoko Kirigiri
"False accusation!!" Kyoko yells out from across the trial room, her leather gloves pointing at the accusing student. Usually she'd object statements in a more calm manner, but her tone sounded more protective this time.
Kyoko has already figured out the case in her head, she's just waiting for the right moment to catch the killer in the moment. But the moment the accusations land on you— She doesn't show the emotion but she's livid on the inside. She's led the trial trying to steer the right direction only for you to be targeted.
You notice shortly after this scene in the trial room, taking the elevator back to the floor level. That Kyoko is slightly smirking, knowing that she'd protected you and defended you well shutting down the false accusation.
Sayaka Maizono
"No, it can't be them!! It just can't, they would never do anything like what you're saying!! Please.. don't blame them!!" Sayaka worriedly defended your honor, pleading for the other students to not believe some random allegation made up from pure paranoia. She clutched and cradled herself, refusing to believe the statement.
Sayaka isn't very active in the trial shortly after you were accused, instead she's just muttering to herself and trying to keep herself from bursting out into emotion. Though if the accusations and suspicion still lands on you she's back into the game again. She denies every single statement for you, defensively fighting back.
As soon as the trial ended, Sayaka rushed up to you and embraced you tightly. She tried her hardest during the trial not to sob or break out into tears, but she couldn't keep it in anymore as the tears drop down her face. They're tears of both joy and relief, she thought was going to loose you in the trial before Kyoko took over.
Leon Kuwata
"HEY!! You should really know how to shut yer trap, ya know?!?!?! You can't be saying random crap like that unprovoked, you don't even have any good reason to suspect them!! Are you stupid or shit?!?!" Leon argued back in response, a more hostile approach as he clenched the rims of the podium he stood by.
Leon is hot headed and angry, he's all bark and no bite though. So the whole time during the trial he's just screaming instead of actually trying to help clear your name from suspicion. He knows he can't do all the detective work at all, so he tries his best to listen and learn. Though it doesn't take long before someone mentions your name again and gets him riled up.
When the trial is over, Leon is extremely relieved. And obviously tired from yelling so much, he does his best to stay strong and pretend as if he was the one who was carrying a hard investigation. He'll laugh and confidently smirk as he "knew it all along" and that he told everybody so. He won't be the one laughing next time when he completely looses his voice.
Chihiro Fujisaki
"N-no.. No!! They wouldn't do that, never!! They're so nice and sweet to me, they wouldn't have murdered anybody!! That's s-so.. so.. It's not them!!" Chihiro fought back, half worried and half scared at the thought of loosing you. He has tears rolling down his cheek as he chokes on his sobs, he doesn't want to loose you to some lies being told!!
Poor Chihiro, he did his best he really did not to cry. But he of course couldn't help it as he pleaded and begged for the others to not listen to the accusations. He doesn't even know if it wasn't you, he just doesn't want to loose you. He's struggling to keep his emotions in check, and he's protective and defensive of you but once the tears start to form they don't stop. Most of his defense statements from him are just a bunch of sobs and stuttered sentences.
Chihiro cries so hard into your uniform or clothes, once the trial is over he's still crying. He's tugging on your clothes and begging for you to never leave him, he's promising and rambling that he never wants to leave your side ever again. You'll have to promise him yourself that you'll survive and stay with him throughout the game.
Mondo Owada
"Why don't you SHUT THE FUCK UP and maybe FIND SOME REASONABLE SHIT to accuse them for, if you want to start saying bullshit like that in court why don't you pick someone else, huh!?!?! Cause out of all the students you chose them, and you already fuckin' know they're not the killer!! You're just looking to start a fight, aren't you!!" Mondo screamed back at the student, extremely pissed off at the thought of you doing something so horrible like what they described. If he makes it out of the trial, he's going to throw hands with the student later on.
Mondo doesn't make sense of the trial, but he does his best. He's jumping in more on the conversation and even going as far to give his accounts and everything. He's firing truth bullets left and right, though some do backfire as he doesn't know what he's doing. He's genuinely trying his best to actually defend you instead of just yelling insults.
As mentioned, as soon as the trial finishes Mondo hasn't forgotten about the student. You struggled to pull him back and tell him it's over, but he stubbornly yanked back his arm and punched the student out cold. Everyone from then was silent as a few others had to carry the student in the elevator, Mondo didn't care if he was going to get scolded by Taka by using violence. Whatever it takes to keep him and his closest friends and partners safe.
Celestial Ludenburg
"Hah..Hah, Hahahaha..— YOU UNEDUCATED SWINE!! YOUR LIES ARE SO POORLY WRITTEN I CANNOT TELL IF I SHOULD LAUGH OR SPIT!! Do you REALLY believe they could commit such an atrocity as YOU'RE DESCRIBING!? If it weren't for the rules that only two murders are permitted, YOU WOULD BE A DEAD CORPSE THAT I'D SIP MY TEA ON TOP OF!!" Celestial shrieked in pure wrath, threateningly lowering her tone as she pointed her finger up. Clearly not having it with the criticism of MURDER.
Similar to Leon, Celestial is overly protective and upset the whole trial. She's spewing insults that are perfectly calculated to target the student who even brings up that you could be a suspect, she's not having it with them at all. She jumps in at every attempt there is to blame another person, anybody but you. She's the ultimate gambler, and even if the chances that student is innocent and she blames them she does not care it's another chance she's willing to take. As long as your name is kept out of their mouths, she couldn't care any less.
When the trial is over, Celesital does her best to remain calm from her bursts of anger and rage. Although it's evident she's still pretty pissed, she immediately glares at everyone like she'd execute them herself, before grabbing your arm and rushing out of the trial room as quick as possible. And with a simple huff, she's dusting off her sleeves and then trying to salvage her mysterious and gorgeous French German background. She knows that'll be hard to restore given her tantrum back there..
