I think a motive for him doing this is inspired by Hypocrisy. After sealing greed, he feels as if he’s losing his way slightly, and in turn, losing the leader that the Knights of Artistic Integrity need, so much that he believes he needs a new perspective in life and realise why he’s doing this in the first place.

He likely enchanted the helmet, and if he were to take it off, he would regain his memories. Sort of like a don Quixote and sancho (limbus) thingy.

Da fit was based on magic bullet outis but I like the idea of critic with a rapier.

Thinking about him using it in his prime for a piercing/finishing kill but tending to use it a lot less often in order to avoid exposing the ink to the outside.

Wasn’t sure if I wanted him to have his pen be able to switch into a dagger or the ink solidifying into a blade.

Settled for the latter concept with an extendable cap for the extended pointer, still having the idea for the extended pointer having combat utility…

Slightly suggestive?????

Inner critic gets really needy and irritable when his pen runs out of ink, he’s like physically unable to get out of bed if he doesn’t replace it before it completely runs out but critic is the type of person to use it until all the ink is gone bc he doesn’t want to be wasteful.

Creativity hand craft some ink by the bedside and get really into the process, trying to find the best materials and the right shade to fit critic’s tastes and Crit’s just like flustered at how well Creativity knows him. and to test the ink out, he takes out his paint brush and makes a painting of him and critic is REALLY REALLY EMBARRASSED ABOUT IT… and he signs the paining with critic’s pen.

After crit gets out of bed, he gets the insane rush of emotions whenever he looks at the painting..

Artistic rendition slightly (don’t mind the cubes, I remade them bc they got squished…)

I’m gna say right here that critic is VERY touch starved (the guy doesn’t even realise he is) and the pen’s got his shard inside it, I’d like to think the ink solidifies and forms a protective layer around the shard but it tends to break off after a while. There’s usually enough ink for the shell to form, allowing crit to replace it in time and it’s rare that this sort of thing happens unless he’s hyper focused.

Needless to say, the guys a little too thankful that creativity was gentle and didn’t tease him during that period :3
