Fun fact, Tsugumi's a big baseball fan! 

It's not that talked about in the manga but on his bedroom walls he has multiple baseball posters. And in a promotional comic for volume 1 he says he doesn't use a baseball bat to hit people cause he believes they aren't made for that. (Implying he thinks iron pipes are for hitting people).

Monthly Update #3, April 20th, 2022

Book 4 of Megumi & Tsugumi has had it's cover revealed!

Preorders for book 4 on Horinlovebooks are live, featuring an acrylic keychain as a pre-order bonus!

Preorders are also up on AnimateOnline, coming with an 8 page comic as its pre-order bonus!

The Fourth Volume cover of Megumi & Tsugumi has been revealed!

This is personally my favorite cover! Them hanging out and Megumi smiling, Green may be the MeguTsugu color, but this light blue looks amazing on them!

Product Showcase #1: Fabric Coaster Set

For the very first product showcase, we'll take a look at the 4 piece coaster set that was produced by Fukuya in late 2019. This set contained two matching coasters of Megumi and Tsugumi.

Here's Coaster #1 and #2!

The first pair of coasters feature stock art of Megumi and Tsugumi that was mostly used for promotional images and Merch for the first volume release. The Background is a light gray with the Characters respective name and Megumi&Tsugumi Logo, both in Romaji. The copyright for Mitsuru Si and Takeshoto are in the bottom corners.

Here is coaster #3 and #4

This pair features Megumi and Tsugumi in Chibi form, these illustrations are the same featured on the back cover of Volume 1. The background of them are both light green with dark green comic book effects, the characters are also outlines in the same dark green. Like before, the Copyright for Mitsuru Si and Takeshobo are in the bottom corners. The Coasters themselves are a thin, soft microfiber cloth made of 100% Polyester Material with the designs being printed on fabric. The sides are machine sewn, with the cutoffs of the edges being fairly obvious.

Each coaster is about 4" by 4", the fabric itself seems to be about a millimeter. (I would personally not use them as actual coasters, as they seem to be easy to stain/bleed through with liquid)

These coasters, as being from the original 2019 Merch launch, are on the rarer side of MeguTsugu Merchandise. The Green set seems to be more rare than the Gray pair. The Original price of these coasters were an estimated ¥600, though if you want to get them now, prepare to pay between ¥1,000 and ¥3,000 on Japanese sites. Overall, these coasters are very good quality and great decor for a shelf or photo album, Would recomend to any M&T fan if you can find them!
