Alright after sitting down with my ol’ astrology book:

I hc Kenshi as a Scorpio Sun, Aquarius Moon, Sagittarius Rising, with some Aries, Libra, and a hint of Capricorn mixed in there

Hanzo must be like Cancer sun: a nest of emotions covered by the stronger walls. Having this sun, his moon (wish makes tons of sense as an aries one) would be much more visible, and have more expression. What he would maybe have is a scorpio rising, but he doesn’t have that scary dark eyes with lack of sleep. I go for a taurus rising. Strong, inmobile, warm deep down. Maybe a lot of placements in 8th house (with could emcompass scorpio and sagitarius).

Kuai, in exchange, must have a capricorn moon, very well developed, emotions used as the power to make things have. To build. Sun could be aquarius or taurus (more aquarius probably, a very saturn man) with the biggest libra rising: he’s beauty, he’s smart and charismatic. Sharp mind and strong emotions in a gorgeous envelope.

Kenshi is toooootally scorpio sun: dark, proud, revengeful, passionate. A man full of death and rebirth inside and outside. The aquarius moon could work, but a virgo moon too: showing love by care (like when he gives chill vibes to Takeda after going to the Lin Kuei Temple), and making physical sacrifices for those who loves (like leaving Takeda with Hanzo). Sagittarius rising til the end of the line.

And last but not least, my personal fave: Lao 💙. Kung Lao must definitely have strong capricorn rising, building his identity around the legacy of his family, but probably has a leo moon, which craves for recognition, to see people love or success come to him for been him. As his end on MK9 says he’s the reencarnation of the first Kung Lao, he could perfectly have a pisces sun, making him an emotional person (conection to his fire moon, just like with Hanzo), but a strong mystical conection (still a monk after all).

Aaaaahhhh!!!! This is sooo good!!! The problem with MK is that everyone has dealt with some sort of trauma so it’s easy to throw them under any water sign like Pisces or Scorpio and just be done with it.
