Tokushipping 2027 – Prompt & Schedule Pt. 2 Form is here!
Well, here we are. The final survey!
This will be the last form before the final prompt list and event dates for TokuShipping Week 2027 are officially announced.
This is the second, and likely final, interest form for shaping TokuShipping Week 2027.
The results of this form will help determine the eve
So, what's being decided this time?
1 - Event Dates
This is a required question.
All options cover a two-week period between February and March 2027. Since this year's event will be spread across two weeks, you'll be helping decide which date range works best for the community.
2 - Main Event Prompts
Also required.
You can vote for anywhere between 1 and 19 prompts. Pick whichever prompts interest you the most and help decide what will make it into the final event lineup.
Now, some of you may be wondering:
"Why 19 prompts? Shouldn't there only be 18 if there are six regular prompt days?"
Good question.
The answer is hidden in Question #4.
3 - TokuSmut Week 2027 Prompts
This question is completely optional.
Did you want to create something spicy for TokuSmut Week 2026, but felt that the regular TokuShipping prompts didn't quite fit what you wanted to make?
This year, every prompt day will include an additional NSFW prompt designed specifically for TokuSmut Week. These prompts will act as optional extra inspiration alongside the regular prompts.
If NSFW content isn't your thing, feel free to skip this section entirely.
And don't worry, all TokuSmut prompts and submissions will continue to be hosted through separate accounts and tags, so the main TokuShipping Week spaces will remain focused on the regular event.
4 - Theme Day
Required question.
The fourth prompt day will once again be dedicated to a shared theme.
In 2026, we had Swap Day, built around the idea of characters exchanging roles, powers, and universes. This year, the options are far more varied, all suggested by participants.
Want a day dedicated to classic AUs like coffee shops, flower shops, and tattoo parlors?
Interested in dreams, nightmares, and wishes?
Prefer flowers, holidays, monsters, masks, music, family themes, or even a day specifically designed for multishippers?
There are plenty of possibilities.
You may vote for up to three Theme Days, but only one will ultimately be selected, so choose wisely.
And what if the winning theme isn't your thing?
That's where Prompt #19 comes in.
Theme Day is the only day that includes an additional non-themed prompt, ensuring everyone can still participate even if the featured theme doesn't appeal to them.
That's everything!
This survey will remain open throughout June and July, giving everyone plenty of time to vote and share it around.
Once this survey closes, all major decisions for TokuShipping Week 2027 will be finalized, making this your last opportunity to help shape the event through community voting.
Please share the survey, spread the word, and invite fellow tokusatsu fans and shippers to participate.
Well, I finally watched The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act.
... and… I genuinely liked it. I walked out of the theater crying and everything lol.
I'll put my thoughts below the cut. This post contains spoilers, so be careful if this crosses your dashboard and you haven't seen it yet.
I don't think it really affects my opinion, but for transparency's sake, I watched it with the Latin American Spanish dub, so there may be some details I missed.
———————————————
Alright. First of all, I saw a lot of people who got spoiled (whether accidentally or intentionally) saying that the ending was bad. Personally, I genuinely think it was a good conclusion. It answered pretty much every loose end that was left hanging.
While I do feel that some parts were very Jax-centric, I honestly think it was necessary. What surprised me, though, was that the whole sequence happened after his abstraction. The possibility of Jax becoming abstracted was always there as a theory, but I never expected it to happen that early, nor did I expect that we'd learn so much about him through Pomni quite literally entering his subconscious.
Honestly, I'm really grateful that Jax and Pomni managed to reconcile, even after he was effectively "gone."
And well… the Soma theory ended up being real after all.
It was nice learning more about the original people behind the circus, their names, and what they accomplished outside. Even though the cast already knew they weren't the real versions of those people anymore, they were still happy to learn about their achievements, while also accepting who they had become, including the names they chose within the circus.
At first, it looked like Jax would end up having the most tragic story, but his real-life situation turned out much more positive despite his fate in the circus. Was he finally able to come to terms with his past and his guilt? Will he decide to change something about his identity in the future? Or maybe the change isn't about identity at all, but about self-expression or personal interests? Is that part of himself finally at peace now that he no longer has to deal with his father's negativity?
Maybe we'll never know. But at least we know that, despite everything, he's okay.
That everyone in the circus and real-life is okay.
They're either living the lives they dreamed of or working toward them.
I think the scene that touched me the most was the aquarium. Kinger can interact with Queenie now, and Jax, Ribbit, and Kaufmo can finally swim together.
The circus is now a home for everyone, not just the stable residents, but the abstracted ones as well.
I like to believe that maybe, someday, somehow, the abstracted characters might be able to come back.
But even if they can't, at least they're okay now.
I also appreciated that small post-credit scene. Seeing everyone as they truly are, even though they never knew each other in real life, was… beautiful.
It was a good series.
I'm grateful that I got to follow it from the very beginning, and I'm happy that I was able to watch this final episode in theaters. When it releases on YouTube, I'll probably watch it again. I always watch the episodes in both languages, the original version and the Latin American Spanish dub. I've already seen it dubbed, so now all that's left is to watch it in English.
I have my own headcanons, theories, and interpretations after watching it, but I'd like to keep this post focused exclusively on my thoughts and feelings about the finale itself.
Thank you, Gooseworx and GLITCH Productions, for this series. It was genuinely good, and it absolutely deserved all the attention and popularity it received.
