Look what Meta did with the their metaverse, Horizon Worlds. They wasted $70 billion on something with zero demand.

Now they pivoted to AI. Another 'forced demand' strategy. Provide cheap AI to get people hooked, they drive up the price. It's unsustainable.

Summer makes me think of The Summer Hikaru Died.

My fingers itched to draw a companion piece to my first tshd fanart, which I made in winter last year. And just like with the first piece I had tons of fun with the Yoshiki version of this!

This manga and anime means so much to me and I hope I could make it somewhat justice with both of my fanarts (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)

For the Yoshiki-centered artwork I chose a color palette that was much more in my comfort zone with it's pinks and purples, than the greens and teals of the Hikaru-centered artwork c: I like both versions tho and I like that they complement each other!

My favorite part was drawing the organs infested with Hikarus goop! (⁠ʘ⁠ᴗ⁠ʘ⁠✿⁠)

As an artists and Oc maker....

I hate July. What is the context? Artfight. I love to join in on artfight but July is always a curse. Busy. Hot. Work. Heat Exhaustion. Self Critiques. Arthritis. Friendship. Games. Talk about too many excuses. But really I hardly feel the want to draw anymore with my current lifestyle. I have ideas, coordinate world for RP work on characters and designs, plus play ffxiv, listen to books for derivative ideas. Add in that when heat hits hard I am in a swollen pain that even water cant help. ( I think I drink a decent amount of water. not the max amount needed but not soda all the time. ) July is the start of my pain. Hot sweltering swollen pain in my joints add into the fact that I works a janitorial job.

On top of this.... I feel the style i like is outdated and niche in the days of current art viewpoints. Or just not good enough. Thus the Self Critiques. I have been working more on dynamic lighting and gradiant effects but its not the depth that many like. ( also takes me HOURS) and in hot times? no go. Love artfight. hate the time. Make one in January for some as January is usually a recovery time for many so this is a good way to also expose art.
