“Wonderful! I was going to get sushi at that nice conveyer belt place.” She explained. It was a nice place and pretty cheap as well, as conveyer sushi places usually were. 

“I’m glad you’re able to come! Eating with someone is a great way to get to know them!”

“Sushi! It has been a while since I’ve partaked in seafood, I am sure it will be great!” 

“And yes, indeed! Conversations had over a shared meal are a great way to get to know someone better, Kohaku-san! I look forward to it! Lead the way!” Lee said cheerfully

She took the hand he offered to her, still smiling warmly. 

“With all your hard work, you must be a fantastic shinobi, Rock Lee!. Are you done for the day? I’m on my way to get some lunch if you’d like to join me?”

“Actually, today has just begin for me! But yes, I am free to join you for lunch if you so choose!” Lee said happily

“What is it you fancy, Kohaku-san?”

“I like to do my training very early in the morning or at night. That way the air is still cool enough to keep you from overheating and you can go for longer.” She replied, walking over to him. “I’m Kohaku, by the way.”

"Rock Lee at your service!" Lee said cheerfully, standing back up to extend his bandaged hand to her with a smile

"I understand, though I train from sun raise to sunset should I have no missions such as today! Sometimes my training extends well into the night as well! I am happy to know there are other hardworking shinobi in this village such as yourself, Kohaku-san!"

Kohaku had been enjoying the nice day out. The sun was shining and it was just a further example of how quickly summer was approaching.

She hadn’t expected to see anyone on her walking path, much less someone walking on his hands. Man, whoever it was seemed to be very dedicated to his training. It was someone Kohaku didn’t recognize, so when he spoke to her she was very happy to introduce herself.

“Hi!” She replied, “you seem very fond of training.”

“Indeed I am! For it is training that ensures I become a fine shinobi of this village!” Lee called happily

“It is a pleasure to meet you! Are you also on your way to training?”

Lee finished his 20th round around the village on his hands, deciding it was enough, he stood again, grinning, and went straight to the training grounds to work on his taijutsu
