Nah bc I’ve never hated the ending of a show/movie so viscerally that I had to disregard it entirely as canon. Like I can take a lot of shit from writers and I’ve been doing that for as long as I’ve been consuming media but go3 really pushed my buttons so far to the point where I finally went “well you’re definitely feeding me bullshit and I don’t want it.” And honestly it’s SO freeing to not try to convince myself into liking something that I just disagree so heavily with. Yeah, a part of me wishes I liked it but I think I’d be so much worse off because it’s just… so impossibly bad. I just sat there watching the end credits roll and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing on my screen because they gave me 90 minutes of actual NOTHING. For 90 minutes I let them into my house to do some final renovations and they literally fucked around with the precious time I gave them by watching paint dry and making holes in my walls and to top it all off they said “oops we messed up your house, we can’t reverse it” and burnt my house to the ground. I can’t take that seriously for even a second and I’m not going to lmfao

In the WWDITS universe, vampire slayers seem to be their own distinct fantasy species. They have vampire-sensing instincts, fast reflexes, and innate combat abilities when fighting vampires.

Perhaps Guillermo always knew deep down that he wasn't exactly human. He never really connected with other humans, or with the concept of humanity. For a long time, he channeled that inhumanity into his desire to become a vampire. But he was never quite human, he was always Something Else

How convenient that they decided not to show how a frightened mother with her child disappears. A group of teenagers. A family of cats. A couple walking in the park. An old lady selling flowers. The main thing is to sprinkle it all with glittery “self-sacrifice for the good of humanity,” while not showing how no one actually asked that same humanity, and how its fate ended up in the hands of two supernatural beings (again). Great.

Just imagine how terrified Adam must have been when he realized that his act of courage and free will had all been for nothing. Imagine how scared he was when his family disappeared. Or think about Warlock, who never got the chance to live a life free from his father’s control. Or Anathema. Or Newt. Or Mr. Shadwell and Madame Tracy. Imagine them all disappearing, and how terrified they must have been in those moments.

Good Omens has always treated every life as equally valuable. There are no lives that matter more or less than others. It has always shown how even the smallest decisions matter, the smallest details, the seemingly insignificant people (like Elspeth and little Morag). It has always shifted the focus away from something vast and abstract onto something small, personal, and yet no less precious or beautiful.
