I can’t help but notice how we fit so perfectly together. Your hand rests comfortable in the small of my back, And my head lays gently on your chest when you hold me. When we’re together your body fits like a missing puzzle piece to mine. It’s also obvious how we balance each other out, To the eye, we are complete opposites. Your hair blonde, eyes blue, Mine brown, eyes borderline black. Your outgoing and funny And I’m reserved. But conversations never end with us, And we see Qualities in our selves that we can only find with each other. And in all of this I’m scared, Scare because I believe I have found my perfect match, But I can not have you.

[meaningless--poetry]

I place my finger on the car window And trace the telephone pole wires And I’m eight again, and it’s fall, And I’m on my way to the cider mill And it smells like rain. Now all I can think about is how Fall is the warmest season. It’s summer now and the sun is setting. It’s a cloudless day, so the stars Will come out, but the night’s heat Is unfriendly, so I guess I’ll wait for fall. At least for now, the telephone poles Stand tall and I can look up at the birds On the wires, singing since they are warm.

Welcome!!

Hello friends of Tumblr, I want to welcome you to my creative writing blog. Here you can find poems, short stories, and maybe even a series if I get the tickle to do so! I got so tired of writing poems, short stories, and so much more on paper or in notebooks and finding them scattered around my house. Plus, I want to put my creativity to good use. I want to inspire, entertain, and amuse others with what I can write. I can’t really categorize my writing... I am so opinionated, random, and indecisive that I can’t just write about one thing. All I am certain of is I’m an artist with many many mediums, and writing is most therapeutic for me.

Beautiful Disasters is my page name because I write a lot on events that have happened personally to me, or to someone extremely close to me. 

Beautiful because no matter how sad or depressing a poem or story might be, it is an event that created a stronger and beautiful person today. 

Disasters is because life can be ugly, and though the outcome can be a stronger person, there’s still the reality that some people don’t make it out stronger, and unfortunately some don’t make it at all. 

I ask that anyone reading future posts or stories to keep in mind that though some events or stories may be true, I will not put names out there that are real. Each character is in essence a fictional character possibly based on a real one. You will not know if my story is non fiction or fiction (unless of course I state that in the posts).

I hope that my page brings people closer, creates insight, and brings you back for more! I will try to post and write as often as I can. And if anyone has suggestions, comments, or anything they want to say, I am all ears! I will not respond to hate with anything more than deletion of it, or blocking if it is persistent. 

Love and live on my friends. And remember that it’s never too late to change the direction your life is going. *Hugs*
