Wow it’s been a hot minute since I posted but since then I’ve finished reading this book for the third time and I’m officially deceased!!! I think gatsby is one of those books where you can read it multiple times and notice something different each time which is great because it’s assigned for school so often lol

today was weird. i stayed up way too late last night, and didn’t get out of bed until 12:30p. if you know anything about me, you know i hate sleeping in! so that threw my day a little out of wack, but i decided my body must have needed it, and not to let it ruin my day or affect me negatively. so i got up, and got some of my monday tasks out of the way. cleaned my bathroom (except for the floor) and did 2/3 loads of laundry, so tomorrow i just have to vacuum and do one load! :) i’ve also been going to the city district library on the weekends because it’s the only library with extended hours (everywhere else is only open for like 4 hours.) but it’s not ideal because it can be loud and there’s not a lot of seating. i never considered going downtown to the university campus bc i can’t afford to pay to park; BUT i realized today parking is free every sunday! (can’t believe i never put that together until now). so i’m going to make that a regular gig. i wanted to go to the law library because it’s gorgeous, but you need to be a law student. so after about an hour of wandering and searching (and also losing my lunchbox), i set up shop in the undergraduate library🤗 and yes i did (eventually) find my lunchbox hahaha
