when iām on my period my vagina is like the 2000 general electionā¦all that Bush and Gore
what's your "if I won the lottery I wouldn't tell anyone but there would be signs" thing? mine is getting a fully green kitchen
This phrase has already entered my vocabulary re: media criticism where like. The viewer has a concrete view of what they expect a story to be based on the tropes and cliches they're used to seeing together, and when that doesn't happen, they judge it as a failed depiction of what they assumed it was going to be instead of judging it as what it actually is.
"This show is problematic because the hero didn't kill the villain at the end": When does he steal the bread?
"These two characters who were close friends throughout the series don't kiss at the end! What the fuck?": When does he steal the bread?
"This feels like it's missing a conclusion! Like, the protagonist does bad stuff and because of a critical decision he makes as a result of his major character flaws, meets tragedy in the end! Where's the part where he learns better and brings is love back from the dead and becomes a good guy and gets a happy ending?": When does he steal the fucking bread??
I heard this out as "When criticizing something, you must judge it for what it is, not what it isn't"
#this is why so many of us urge people to get a wider diet of stories
interesting kink assortment on the dash
MY FUCKING CAR
if i was a soccer player i'd simply kick that ball in the goal instead of wasting everyone's time
"The sculpture in the image is āDas Schicksalā (Fate), created in 1905 by Hugo Lederer. The sculpture portrays fate as a ruthless woman dragging two vulnerable bodies by their hair.
The work is currently located in Ohlsdorf Cemetery in Hamburg, Germany."

i mean this in the nicest way possible but some of you need to learn how to be annoyed
people are going to annoy you and thatās not a reason to burn bridges or blow up relationships
some people will even annoy you often! some people arenāt good at social cues and will therefore be frequently annoying! still not a reason to blow everything up!

Iām just an easy mark for dumb pilot humor. Today the captain was like āweāre now at altitude, feel free to move around, my one rule is you must stay inside the planeā and I lost it. Itās funny because you would die a horrible death akin to standing unencumbered on Pluto
different, but the same
*street shot of zohran mamdani clad in nasty lil suit and hard hat* five months ago i was elected mayor of new york city. in that time, we have managed to COMPLETELY defeat the Staten Island Minotaur at no additional cost to the new york taxpayer
Put this in the comments but it needs to be said here too. I am so mad D20 did unsleeping city before Mamdani was mayor. Can you fucking imagine.
reminding everyone to wear sunscreen because the sun is a deadly laser: šš
having to spend 10 minutes slathering yourself in grease just to safely be outside in the sun for 20 minutes. because the sun is a deadly laser: šš
*trying to pitch public transportation to Americans* itās like a legal form of texting while driving
i am always one wrong word away from being shot by all the people who find me tolerable
posting this on twitter will get you put into witness protection
