To re-answer you Anon, yes Trojan does play an instrument. He plays an Erhu, which is a traditional Chinese fiddle. Trojan rarely plays it though because he used to play it for his ex. It reminds him of the person he now loathes, which makes playing a challenge.
So what's more unethical in your opinion? Truth Serum or Mind Reading?

So says the plush toy.
"tch....fine," he scowled at the plush. He reluctantly submits. "Don't see why you'd be interested." There's unease within that magenta eyelight. He didn't like the idea of the doll ordering him around.
How annoying. He stares at the urn with the supposed ashes inside. He couldn't rewind a body that badly damaged. "I'll try, but it might not work. Injuries I can manage, not the dead." Using his strings, he toted the urn closer and steadily attempted to rewrite their 'son's' code. "Still really damn careless. You shouldn't be taking lessons from the brat," Trojan chided. It didn't seem to be doing anything. He frowned. Unsure of how to approach the topic, he began by returning the urn. "Your best bet is to locate Rei or any of the other folks that can perform a 'reset'. There's a few out there that can do an isolated reset, which would return him back to full health. It'd fuck up his memory though and he'd be liable to do the same shit that left him in this condition. Be watchful of that."
The plush watches with upmost curiosity. Though after seeing that it did nothing, King Mask frowned.
"Not even able to reform his body, huh?"
Shame. A real shame.
"For context, mine 'Brother' was basically blasted a fireball point-blank."
"The charlatan who did it lulled him to a false sense of security before slamming a flaming skeleton in his face."
The plastic eyes begin to well up..
"I-I'd rather have him forget his final moments. Maybe he'd be able to trust again. Maybe he wouldn't see Sir Merlot's despaired face as the flames consumed him."
He wipes his face.
"Resetting him under better circumstances would be.. preferable."
He had been informed by Merlot on what happened in front of the bar. “You do realize that was the purpose, right? Not claiming what happened should’ve happened, before you get that lodged in your skull. Those copies of everyone were created from personal insecurities. Your copy held your own,” he explained.
“What happened was to prove to that copy, and more importantly to you, that not everyone is out to get you and will stick up for you. Somehow, I believe you’re missing the point to it all.”
He shrugs, returning to his lax demeanor. “If that’s all, I’m gonna head out. Best of luck getting someone to bring them back.”

"From henceforth, thou shall refer to me as 'King' for the rest of thine life.. in mine service."
Oh you can bet your bottom dollar he will be playing around. With how stressful his life has been lately, he could use some fun!
"Fret not, young servant! I shan't ask for anything TOO unreasonable.."
And so it begins.
His socket twitches. His tolerance for the plush was already short. There's a reason why he gave them the 'tanzi' flowers. He already has no intention of calling them King and will do anything to avoid the title from coming out of his mouth. "This ant lasting as long as you believe it'll be, King." It might be best to tread carefully.
The king would chuckle..
"Goodness, servant! I ask of one thing and thou art already blowing a gasket! A week is quite a long time, you know."
The Plush King has fully immersed in his role in a blink of an eye.
"Now then! As for an ACTUAL decree, I ask thou this-"
He would spin the cane around in his hand, the shiny royal impliment generating a light gust of wind..
"-For the sake of science, and to just humor mine curiosity, what art the full scope of thine abilities?"
The glitch stared at the plush for a moment, wondering why they thought he’d just freely give that information away. Hell, he didn’t even let his partners know how heinous his abilities were. “I have no reason to tell you. Just because I said ‘I pledge’, it doesn’t automatically mean I’ll be an open book for you to prod,” he says firmly. Unless they turned it into an actual order, he would not comply.
“Why do you want to know anyway?” Trojan asks back. Depending on their goal, he might give a few details. Just a few. He seems uncomfortable as he stood before their temporary king.
The plush king blinks at Trojan's blatant lack of loyalty to his kingship..
"My my, such treason! Well if you MUST know.."
A king explaining himself to a servant. How undignified! It's as if the rules have no meaning.
"My son, Prince Askasicus III, has been traveling to alternate timelines at the behest of Royal Scientist Alphys. He's stumbled across quite a few of you 'Errors' and your reality-editing abilities. How they change the very code of the universe itself."
He taps his cane on the ground, creating a resounding clack against the marble floor.
"I shall ask a little simpler. Can thou manipulate code? I wish. To 'undo' something. Outside my reality."
The plush seemed a little uncharacteristicly serious for once. Maybe he thought sharing abilities wouldnt be that big a deal? The plush shows his off all the time!
He didn’t care if it were dignified or not. Trojan was going to set boundaries for this little game, whether the majority liked it or not! There’s an eye roll given at their lecturing of his actions, clearly uncaring for it nor truly listening. You could be loyal and be a prick at the same time. You can also be loyal and still say ‘hey, don’t pry.’
The question given does draw his attention almost immediately. He does listen, curious of what was actually being requested. “I do possess similar skills to them, but they aren’t the same. No error is truly the same. What is it that you’re needing? I’d have an easier time giving an answer if I knew what your problem is.” There wasn’t any snark given within his words. He was respecting them by showing the same no-bullshit attitude.
“Not gonna fork over everything i can do to ya, but I’ll at least tell you this: I am able to rewind injuries as if they never happened. I can restore memories that were lost provided those memories were lost within a week’s time.” He pauses, debating on wither to go further.
“And I can delete a person’s existence. Not just kill them. I cannot delete an entire timeline though.” He could. He has. But it fucks him up doing that. It makes him lose his own memories. He refuses to give those up to appease this roleplay that the plush set into motion.
“That’s really careless of ya to let your son wonder around foreign territories all on their own. At least have somebody go with him,” Trojan scowled. “Clearly ya give a shit about them to keep tabs,” he sighs. “Or-“ there’s a curve of a smirk. “Is that just for show? If so, I pity the guy for having such a shit dad.”
Yes he went there. No, he didn’t have to go that far. That little sadistic streak slipped in after seeing Mask wear his emotions on his sleeve. The plush showed that they were upset at him and he took the opening to run with.
