Hey! Do you divulge or have some tips for new ask blogs because if so could you do that with mine please? Thank you! ๐ช๐ช
Hello!! Thank you so much for asking!
First of all, something simple! Like introducing yourself and your muse via an intro/pinned post, this can include anything such as pronouns, national name, human name, age, headcanons and more!
Second, do NOT doubt yourself on how you run the blogโnobody's style of roleplaying is the same, feel free to use "-" or have your interaction posts have colored texts. OOC on your post or in the tags shouldn't be something you get embarrassed about, it gives context to the reader, so feel free to use those as well!
Third, set yourself some boundaries and ground rules on what can happen on your blog and what can't happen, respect the boundaries YOU set above all else, unless you plan to interact with others, your first priorities should be what you are comfortable with in and out of roleplay.
When it comes to roleplay and interaction, respect both your own boundaries and other's boundaries, that means no NSFW unless the person is okay with it, no getting political, no offensive or derogatory language. Have basic common sense, and have respect for the people you are speaking to. Treat others how you want to be treated. We do NOT gatekeep any method of roleplaying. Most of the blogs you will be interacting with are minors, notices and messages about what you plan for any type of character arc is much appreciated.
Fourth, Don't doubt yourself on the ability to be your muse, you are ALLOWED to have resources to go off of, such as references on case studies, the canon traits of a character in Hetalia, history books, the encyclopedia and the culture of the country personified you are roleplaying as. Don't be afraid to reach out to others within the community, if you have any questions, you are obliged to ask them, there is no harm in doing that.
Fifth, engage with the community! Reblogging posts, liking replies, and sending asks to other roleplayers are great ways to build connections. We Hetalia ask blogs thrive on interaction, so donโt be shy to start conversations or jump into ongoing storylinesโjust make sure to read othersโ rules and ask if theyโre open to new participants. (Which we usually are, donโt be afraid to interact!)
On your end, make sure to create character arcs that are primarily open to be interacted with, usually containing open-ended questions or a question itself. (If you are not selective of who you roleplay with, this is appreciated.)
Feel free to use images or art on your posts as well, it gives a more interactive experience!
Hope these helped!! If you need anymore tips, or need me to touch into specific questions you have, feel free to ask!
