Just a few comments based on notes here:

For the purposes of this particular survey, I didn't intend to do a comprehensive mapping of every pet game out there. So if your favorite pet game is not mentioned in the list, don't worry, that's just because these are the games I wanted to list.

I only tagged this with neopets and flight rising on my original tumblr post, so both those games will be over-represented in any statistics. This does introduce some bias. Feel free to share the survey in other communities if you want!

In the same vein, the questions about game mechanics are also not comprehensive! This is intentional! I've made notes about page visit for progression based on comments, for instance.

I have noted comments about story/plot/lore, and will keep it in mind for the future!

any communication is better than nothing, but this would have been better if the response on the KS didn't happen in the first place. in good faith, i can see the original response on the KS being sort of a neutral statement that there's no intention to stop being quiet, but there's no mention of continued work as there is here, which was likely what the user who asked was looking for.

i feel like a lot of the alarm, too, was that moderators weren't active enough to lock threads talking about silence as there was in the first bout of silence.

quiche being inactive, too, and then stepping down... i do sincerely hope that none of the staff has received much harassment or stalking, etc, but its sad to see that the staff as a whole kind of shrank down and hid out of sight and left people feeling abandoned. anything from anyone, i feel like even a moderator action on those threads aside from deletion, would have helped

i can't help but wonder if there was going to be any communication if there were no comments on the ks either.

i mean, i guess they had the icerun event, but it sounds like those are kind of automatic events once you plug in a few items. so it's a bit disingenuous of me to say the last update was in august, but the silence isn't inspiring me to log in, that's for sure. i think they need some deeper mechanic changes to rope users back in,

as fun as it is to gawk at this stuff sometimes it's moreso just sad. because it can sully the vibes of the petsim community as a whole and make them less willing to back or entertain newer petsims. :(

there's perhaps time for it to reverse but the "decline" of lorwolf is kind of sad considering how all the signs were there originally for a competent team. i remember petsimmerjulie's video hyping it up, pointing out the green flags about the campaign, that they already had a working version of the site, but it's sitting at 87 users online. sub-100. like.
