Okay, time for an intro post 🌸

Hi, i'm Koterishna or Koterish. Welcome to my blog! 🦔

I'm here to finally build an archive of my silly fanart and just be present on the web (in art form, heh). I'm a shy person, so can't keep up with social things really well. But your comments and reblogs warm my heart! ☀️

My hobbies include writing, embroidery, making beaded flowers, playing videogames and making a game of my own (it's about seals!)

English is not my first language, but it's my favorite to write in. I just think it's really cool and try to learn it better 💪 Also learning some Finnish for fun.

I'm the kind of person who actually likes to stare at a nice peaceful picture for hours, as a way to mentally touch grass and meditate by immersing myself into the process. So that's why i draw by myself and don't use ai.

I don't currently take commissions. And as of now i only have an active Tumblr as my (global) place for art. So be careful if you ever want a drawing by me.

For now, i just hope my art makes your day better 🌻

For a little break, here's some of my aesthetic collages of PS1 Spyro the Dragon levels i made almost 10 years back. With my screenshots from SpyroWorld Viewer when it first came out. Just to soak in that atmosphere a bit more ✨

These are like expanded versions of the levels i often had in my dreams. Because Spyro lives in my head rent-free 💜💛

This painting secretly captures the exact atmosphere of the happier parts of my childhood 🍰 Random moments like getting new fresh-smelling stickers. And ultimately playing Sonic soundtracks in my head!

One of the most self-indulgent Sonic things i ever painted 😊 A chao garden inspired by the hero one from Sonic Adventure 2. But with the pastel 90s anime Sailor Moon-like pallette 🍦🌸

And some custom chao! If there's a seal and a tiger, why not a seal and a calico cat? I just love to imagine what designs we could get if there was another Sonic game with actual chao gardens ✨

Yay, more bulbasaurs! 🐸🌿 Or are they ivysaurs at this point? This time more of a summer and spring theme. The last one's a dandelion, but like a little lion ☀️

I'd like to actually post my step by step prosess for some of these. Hope that's okay as a format 🐱

So this is Part 1 of my series, because over the year i drew quite a bunch of custom bulbasaurs, ivysaurs and charmander-like creatures. As a design exercise, but also as a part of my personal therapy :D They are like the cottagecore and goblincore i can afford. Frogs and toads + some moss and greenery is perfection 🐸

Always been a fan of this trend, drawing Amy in as many cool and cozy outfits as possible 💖 So i just had to make a little contribution 🌸

Oh, to be a chao on a cake-shaped island, with the ocean and a seal… This should be recognized as one of the basic psychological needs 🌼🩹

Feeling determined to learn drawing chibi-environments and went kinda frutiger aero for this one :D Fits nice with the world of Sonic 💙
