You take a few deep breaths, the butterflies in your stomach getting more anxious, before you make your way towards the back exit. You were excited to finally see him after two long weeks, ready to be back in his arms, ready to have him in yours. It felt like time had slowed while you were trying to navigate your way to him, your feet not able to move any faster. It felt like it took you twice as long to get there even though you knew exactly where to go.
Turning the corner, you see him leaning against the wall, constantly checking his phone before shoving it back into his pocket. You can't help but smile, you've missed him so much and now he was standing in front of you. "Suna Rin!" You call out, which causes him to turn towards the voice. A smile appearing on his face, his arms spread open, waiting for you. You don't hesitate, already running towards him, throwing yourself into his waiting arms, giggles erupting from you, your happiness at finally reuniting with him evident. He hugs you so tightly, as if he's wanting to make sure that you're actually in front of him, that he wasn't dreaming it.
"I missed you so much doll. So so much." He says before giving you a quick forehead kiss. "So...you've made your decision?" Based on your reaction, he already knows what your answer is, but he wants to hear it from you. "I choose you. I choose you Suna Rin. It's always been you my love." You tell him with a big smile on your face. He swears he can feel butterflies in his stomach, you chose him. You're choosing him over Atsumu, over your soulmate. You've made him the happiest man on the planet.
"Are you sure about this doll? You're not going to regret this later?" He's happy you chose him, but he wants to know that you're not choosing him just for his sake, that being with him is exactly what you want. You shake your head, placing your hands on either side of his face so that he's looking at you.
"I thought about it a lot these last 2 weeks, the one I missed the most...was you Rin. Whenever I wanted to talk to someone, to tell them about my day or just because I wanted to, you were the first person I wanted to call, you were always who I was thinking about. I found myself missing you a lot, and sure you'd say it's because we've known each other longer and you're who I find comfort in, but that's not it. Rin, when I think of my future, I don't picture Tsum, I picture you. You're the one I see myself starting a family with, who I grow old with, who I spend the rest of my days with. I can't imagine being with anyone else. It took some figuring out, but my love, it's you. You're the only one for me, you're the one I'm meant to be with, my love, you're it for me. I love you and only you."
You say it so confidently that all the fears and doubts that he's been keeping bottled up just instantly disappear. He leans down to give you a kiss. "I love you too y/n. I love you so much. And I'm so happy that you chose me. I'm going to show you that you made the right choice, that although I'm not your soulmate, I can make you just as happy. You're the only one for me, you've always been the only one for me." You smile up at him, your heart feeling so full at hearing his declaration. "How long are you staying?" He questions. "Until Sunday." He gives your waist a squeeze. "Perfect. I'm taking you out on a date tomorrow. Okay?" You can't contain your excitement at being able to go on a date with him again, that is until you remember you still had someone else to talk to.
He notices the change in your demeanor before giving you a knowing nod. "I'll wait for you at the front entrance. Go and talk to Atsumu." You let out a shaky breath, your nerves coming back. Although you told Suna your decision, you still had one more person to tell, and this was going to be the harder conversation to have. He notices your apprehension, before giving you a reassuring pat on the back as he watches you walk out the back exit, on your way to find the blonde setter.

You make your way downstairs and you see him leaning against his car, the bouquet of flowers in his hand. The butterflies in your stomach start to go crazy as he comes into view, only getting worse as he starts to close the gap between the two of you. "Do you like them?" He questions before handing them to you. "I love them Tsum. They're beautiful. Thank you." You say before taking them and giving him a kiss. "Ya know, I don't think I'll ever get tired of kissing ya." Rolling your eyes you playfully shove him before he opens the car door for you.
"Where are we going? You still haven't told me." You pout, pretending to be upset. "Yer just going to have to be patient angel. It's a surprise for a reason." Letting out a sigh, you lean back into your seat and just look out the window. "Am sure yer gonna love it." He says while giving your though a squeeze. The rest of the ride is spent with you trying to guess where you're going based on where your location was at the moment.
"Close yer eyes." You arrive at your destination but you were still unsure of the surprise. You shut your eyes and wait for him to help guide you out of the car. He places his hands over your eyes, wanting to make sure that you wouldn't be able to peek. "Tsum, don't make me fall." You say while gripping at his wrists, wanting to have something to hold onto.
"Ya can trust me angel, I won't let ya fall." He says, his face near your ear. You walk for a few minutes before he finally stops. "Are ya ready for our date?" He questions and you nod excitedly. "Yes. I'm ready for our date Tsum." He removes his hands from your eyes and you can't help but gasp. Your date was a picnic by the water, but not just a plain old picnic, there was a mini table and cushions as well, everything you needed to be comfortable. "What do ya think?" He asks nervously. Turning to look at him, you see him anxiously waiting for an answer. "I love it! I'm so happy Tsum!"

You spot him before he spots you, sitting at a bench, one knee bouncing up and down, his hair a mess from the countless times he ran his fingers through them, and the constant sighs that escaped his lips. You could see just how nervous he was but so were you, the butterflies in your stomach fluttering like crazy.
"Tsum?" You call out the closer you get to him. "Angel?" He immediately stands up and closes the gap between the two of you. "Are ya crying? Oh god. Am being turned down, huh? Ya chose Suna. I knew ya would, but it still hurts. I wasn't expecting it to hurt his much. But am really happy--" You pull him towards you, planting a kiss on his lips, eager to shut him up with his assumptions. "I choose you dummy." He was definitely dumbfounded. You chose him? He was so sure that you'd choose Suna that it was taking him a few seconds to process what you told him and the kiss that had occurred.
"Is this a dream? Am I dreaming? Did I hear right? Are ya a hallucination? That's it, right? I got hit so hard in the head with a volleyball during the last set of the game that I ended up dying in some freak accident and am in heaven now. Right? That's the only possible explanation." You can see the look on his face, he was in utter disbelief, his mind not able to believe that you chose him. You couldn't help but chuckle at his reaction, it was stupidly cute. Seeing his reaction, you can feel that this was the right decision.
"MIYA ATSUMU!" Hearing his full name being yelled brings him back to reality. "It's not a dream and you're not dead. This is real, I chose you Tsum. You're who I want to be with. I can't deny this bond anymore. Tsum, we were destined to be together and as much as I tried to fight that, I couldn't. It's you, it's always been you. I might have taken some detours and hit some bumps along the way, but I made it, I made my way to you."
His face brightens, if he smiled any harder you're sure he'd hurt himself somehow. He lifts you up and spins you around, happiness evident in the way he looks at you. You can't help the giggles that escape your lips. The feeling in your chest and tummy further solidifying that this was the right choice, that you were meant to be with him. He gently places you back down. "Am so happy. Ya won't regret this angel! Am gonna make ya the happiest girl in the world. Whatever ya want, I'll give it to ya. Just say the word."
Your heart feels so full, a few moments ago you had felt it breaking, but seeing Atsumu and how happy he is, it managed to repair itself, not fully, but you're sure with time that it'll be good as new. "Tsum. I'm happy to just be with you. So don't overdo it, okay?" He pretends to pout but it doesn't last long because he's just so happy. "Ya think ya can give me another kiss?" You let out a laugh, but happily oblige. "We need to tell everyone!" Seeing him so happy for the first time in weeks makes you feel happier, his excitement was contagious. "Okay. Let's do that."

atsumu gulps in another beer. inhaling the intoxicating scent from the bottle, he cringed. he moved his hands everywhere, desperately trying to feel your figure beside him. once he does, he clings onto your arm, inhaling your sweet scent instead. you shake your head and try to snatch the bottle out if his grip. however he whines and places the bottle on top of the table carefully before pulling you closer to himself. why was he doing this? why was his heart beating rapidly as you move closer and closer? why didnt he feel like this towards his old girlfriend before? was he finally realizing who he loves? well, if that's the case, he never wants to let you go, ever again. suddenly, you two felt your hot breaths against each other. nothing mattered to atsumu. nothing but you. you were all that was on his mind. he thought it was ridiculous. ridiculous how you managed to make him feel like this. you made him lose self-control, that made him look like an idiot. everytime you pass by it gives him butterflies. you two got lost in each others eyes. the reflection of yourselves were seen in each others eyes. he laughs.
"fuck it"
he swiftly grabs your jaw, pulling it upwards, and kissing your lips deep, and passionately. it was full of love that was untold. more like before. now that he kissed you, you didnt even had a second thought and kissed him back. both arms wrapped around his shoulders.
you took a quick notice of his natural blushing cheeks. possibly from what he was drinking. the cheers and claps from the bar, soon vanished. as if you two were just the only ones there.
he pulls back from the kiss and stares at your lips, then to your eyes, he smiles. he was feeling like he was the happiest man alive.
to atsumu, kissing you felt like heaven on earth. the feeling of ypur plump lips on his, your delicate fingers subconsciously gripping the strands of his golden yellow locks. he never wanted this to end.
you had a reddish tint plastered on your cheeks. nibbling atsumu's bottom lip you smile at him once again.
"i gotta admit miya, youre a very good kisser". he chuckles.
"well youre a very good kisser too love.. never want it to end" he whisperes the last part in your ear.
he was finally feeling happiness. happiness that could never be replaced with anything. the feeling of you in his arms, smiling joyously at the silly gestures the two of you do. he never wants it to end.
"y/n youre so unfair"
sobs were filled in a room. atsumu sits in the middle. holding a pillow close to him, he whisperes.
"you said you dont want this to end too right?" he whisperes into the soft cushion. he hates it. he hates the way he can still smell your perfume perfectly as if you were there.
"who am I gonna sleep with now, i cant sleep unless you sing me a lullaby"
he didnt even care if people knew about this. lullabies were always a thing that you did whenever insomnia hits him.
"can you sing me that song one more time?"
he waits. and waits. and waits. he wanted to hear your voice. that annoyingly sweet voice that teased him whenever he asked for it.
but there was none. no response, no hum, no laugh, nothing.
he drops onto the side if his bed, tears spilling endellessly out of his eyes.
can he hold you, in his arms, one more time and wish it would never end?
