When I broke up with you, I know I will not regret things because I already prepared myself. I have been thinking about us breaking up every damn night because I already knew there is something wrong with our relationship and I made it even worse when I thought about you getting married to your best friend. But the usual me, I kept quiet. You see, it was hard for me at first. I loved you for yearsā. I shared the same cup of tea with you, slept with the same bed, woke up by the shore with you, got drunk, got sick, got fucked up together. And really, i must say that thatās the best weāve shared. I then started contemplating things after. Your laugh doesnāt make me happy anymore. Your smile doesnāt seem to light up my mood. Your eyes, your eyes are my favourite. The way they sparkle like the ocean at day and the stars night, itās perfect. But hun, I cannot see the shine on it anymore. Itās just like the ordinary blue eyes that i usually see. Every time I see you, my heart doesnāt go ābadump badumpā like the way it used to for the past months, years. It changed. I know you felt it too. You also felt that the relationship we had for a long time isnāt going along with the time. Itās not going forward, itās reversing. Our feelings climbed the stairs before it reached the climax until it blew off like the balloon. It went away, went to unknown directions we never got the chance to knew where. And so I said to myself, āThis is what falling out of love is.ā and i thought about it again if it was really the scariest part in relationships, and well. Maybe i was fortunate enough because we had mutual feelings and same thoughts ā āthis relationship aināt progressing.ā We ended up as friends after and just strangers on the latter part. Thatās what it is supposed to be, i guess.
