I'm a writer, editor, game dev, and Japanese-English translator of light novels and manga, & queer, mixed race person of wibbly gender, making a fresh start here after a long time away o/
My life right now is currently my work, D&D with friends, and all the funny little guys I obsess over (my OCs!)
Your eyes do not deceive you, I have actually updated Weddingpeach.net in 2K26! This update focuses primarily on written content, but rest assured that visual updates are on the horizon too.
I've added a Story Summary to the Story page to give you a basic rundown on what Wedding Peach is actually about.
In addition to the above, What is Wedding Peach? has been expanded to go into its own little outline of the story as well.
What is Wedding Apple? is a brand new History article that details all the basics regarding the Wedding Apple series and includes a personal reflection essay where I ramble about it as it relates to Wedding Peach.
Aphrodite's profile has been added to the Cast page.
Cereso's profile has been added to the Cast page.
Peach's profile, Lily's profile, Daisy's profile and Salvia's profile have all been updated to include a list of their transformations and attacks (complete with images and descriptions).
I've made six new link buttons and they're now on the Website page. I'd really appreciate exchanging links with other series fansites still alive on the web!
While this isn't a lot in the scheme of things that I need to get done for this website, it felt good to be able to provide a decently-sized update. I hope you will take the time to visit and enjoy the new writings if you're interested in the Wedding Peach franchise.
This is genuinely still one of my favorite character pieces I have ever gotten!! 💖
The layout and framing is so good... I feel like I need to yap about these guys more here because truly this is such a fun way to show off the main cast of this story! The story is informally titled A Feather on the Trigger and follows the exploits of one driven, winged detective in the metropolis of New Yolk City.
From bottom to top, left to right:
Detective Gimon Fu: A skilled but somewhat neurotic private detective. Though a bit of an oddball, they are renowned for their skills of deduction (somewhat to their chagrin, not being the most social individual). Despite their quirks, they can solve any case...mostly.
Tangerine: The sole secretary of the Hard-Boiled Egg Detective Agency, and Gimon's personal assistant. A bit of a flirt, few are aware that she has a deductive skill that ranks with the best--and she's just fine with that. It's easier to get information out of those who underestimate you, after all.
Aster: A friend of Gimon's and owner of their favorite local coffee shop. She loves to gossip, and is happy to share all that she hears with the detective. Harbors a small crush on Tangerine.
Iggy: The proprietor of a small antiques brokerage and Aster's twin brother. A mild-mannered intellectual who loves a good debate, Gimon always enjoys conversing with him when they happen to cross path's at Aster's shop.
Fushigi na Tori / "Chicken X": An unnamed, unknown phantom thief who has been striking various targets around the city, stealing priceless items. He is always cloaked in shadow, not able to be seen on heard--unless he wishes you to. After crossing paths with the thief one day, Gimon made it a personal mission to take him down... But has that mission gotten too personal?
Anyway, besides making this awesome illustration, Micah was responsible for the original designs of Gimon, Aster, and Iggy, and I can't be thankful enough! And one day I will have the time and energy to put together a VN, I swear it--
I have a new album coming: To the Cities I've Never Known! Featuring vocal collabs with @irlpinkiepie, @koyoba, and @ucklin - a few tracks that you may have heard before, plus several brand new ones! It will be available for free streaming and download.
There will also be a listening party on 10 October at 11am AEST (it may be 9 October for you) at: https://circlejourney.bandcamp.com/live/to-the-cities-ive-never-known-listening-party. I've never used this feature before so this will be an experiment.
Feel free to comment on the post if you wanna be pinged for the listening party!
It was so much fun getting to contribute a little to this, and I can't wait to hear the rest of the tracks! CJ's music is always a joy to listen to, so be sure to check this one out o/
I think the solution to kids on the Internet is to have specific, kid friendly spaces on the Internet. Kids wouldn't come across "adult content" on YouTube if barbie dot com still had flash games and this is a hill I will die on.
Oh! Then I know the EXACT person you should be mad at! Michael O'Rielly! He's the one that gutted the Children's Programming Rules, which covered internet as well as television.
#so the death of the Saturday morning cartoon is THIS motherfuckers fault?????
Indeed it is! The FCC controls how much of broadcasting has to cater to children and that includes how educational that programming has to be, and exactly how much and in what way you are allowed to advertise to kids. That's why for the entire 90s and up to the early 00s, kids shows had shorter commercial breaks, and ads that talked about a website had to say "ask your parents before going online", and those websites had to be non-commercial--i.e. they could not be shops, and could not have any way you could spend money or were encouraged to spend money. That's why Barbie.com was flash games, and O'Rielly LIFTING that ban is why Barbie.com now takes you directly to a storefront instead.
If you're mad about Saturday Morning Cartoons, dark patterns in ads targeted at children, online protections for kids, or wondering why educational children's shows aren't as much of a thing as they used to be, get mad at the FCC and the person in charge of it who is gutting the Children's Brodcasting Rules (sometimes called the Kid Vid Rules), because those rules control all of that!
While O'Rielly is responsible for gutting the rules in 2019, he was replaced in 2020 by Nathan Simington as head of the FCC, and Simington resigned in June of this year. The post remains vacant as of the time of this writing (August 31, 2025).
And a side note: Things like KOSA and SCREEN and all those other censorship bills that use "think of the children" are not going to protect children at all; if you want to protect kids online, there is already a way to do that it's called the Kid Vid Rules and the FCC is the one that can update and change them to keep up with the times! It doesn't need a congress vote, it already got voted on in 1990!
Dykes and queers in the notes confirming this hardcore is so real like. It's LITERALLY this exact reaction, like people are so shocked to see someone with tits who doesn't live in fear of a hypothetical omnipresent husband or mother in law. Living life as the impossible woman because people do not think anyone would ever let themselves exist as a heterosexually unfuckable woman lol
Reblogging with a counterpoint that I wonder if this is like... a regional or cultural thing or something. I stopped shaving my legs like 15 yrs ago because I just got tired of it, and honestly I expected this reaction to happen immediately when I went out in shorts (which is every day of the summer) because I have very thick, dark hair on my legs...
But like, it never has? I think I can recall maybe one stranger ever giving me a glance, but the only person who has ever made a comment was my own mother, one time, who never addressed it again after I told her I just didn't care. Moreover, it's not like MEN even care... I put zero effort into my appearance, but just being an AFAB person with some curves on me, I am -constantly- hit on by random straight dudes (which is horrifying for me because I am so gay).
So... I'm very sorry to anyone who has experienced this but (thankfully) I don't think it's universal ahaha...
