I don’t do 1st birthdays too often just because it’s not really in my field of expertise however I had shot Jea and Jasmine’s wedding in Hawaii two years ago on 11/29/2013. They were just one of the nicest, humble, generous couples I had the privilege of shooting. I like to think of most of my couples as friends after shooting their weddings so it was such a surprise and honor to have Jea and Jasmine ask me to shoot their beautiful daughters 1st birthday in Seattle. Agnes was just full of joy and had her parents photogenic smile but the best part was when Jasmine was giving her heart-filled speech to everyone that attended, Agnes upstaged her by giving the biggest yawn and then promptly falling asleep. Everyone laughed. It is in these moments where I get to witness 2 of the most joyous moments in a couples life that I feel really privilege to be a photographer and get the clients that I do. THANK YOU JEA, JASMINE, AND AGNES!
Reno and Renee were some good friends of mine and I had the privilege of shooting their awesome wedding. A beautiful north shore barn, surrounded by friends, free alcohol, a drunk toast made by the best man Peyton and a Cigar bar made this wedding one for the history books. It was a blast and to be honest it was one of the few weddings where I don’t remember what happened at the end of the night.
Ok WOW. I'm sorry if I sound like I am rambling. There are very few times in my business and even life where I am just floored by someones kindness and thoughtfulness. A lot of times as the photographer, you get overlooked and sometimes feel under appreciated. Today I got a knock at the door and fedex gave me a large envelope (honestly my first thought was it some sort of government/IRS papers) I opened it up and it was a gift from Warren and Caren who I only met once and shot their engagement photos. I got my japanese magazine!!! I had posted it 2-3 months ago in search of it and I got it along with a thank you note. I am completely floored and thankful for you guys and I am glad to have you in my life. There are really not enough words to say thank you for your thoughtfulness!

I was featured in one of Japans #1 wedding magazine recently and luckily one of my clients was able to snap photos and send it to me. It feels good to have my work in the magazine....now if only I could get my hands on it. If anyone can get their hands on it, i will take you out to a world class meal or just pay you for the mag :)

This was my first time shooting engagement photos on the northshore. I have been shooting engagement photo for 6 years now and I am ashamed to say that this was my first time shooting here. I love hawaii but I love shooting in locations that aren’t typically hawaiian looking. Thank god I had Warren and Caren who was down to get a little dirty and was ok with making multiple illegal U-turns and parking in the middle of nowhere. What do you think of this new locations?
I’m in love with Kai and Kaeli. This couple was so fun and genuine. Kai is a pilot and Kaeli is a nurse so they definitaly are gonna be a powered couple. They got ready at Hale Koa and then got married at Halekulani which always does a awesome with their weddings. Congratulations Kai and Kaeli!
I recently shot Garret and Nicole’s engagement on a day where it looked like it would be rained out. We switched places last minute and it was one of the best decisions we could’ve made. The sun peaked out and fell perfectly on this couple. I’m excited to shoot their upcoming wedding!
