khunyoung: don't you know

don't you know; r nichkhun/wooyoung romance, humor? so, those dreams. they're messing everything up for nichkhun.

I don't really read much 2PM fanfic, but I definitely love Nichkhun/Wooyoung, and this seemed to really (adorably) capture the nature of their relationship. It's very cute, and definitely funny.

Oh yes, I just remembered she has a policy where she has to add you for you to see her R-rated fics. Don't worry, I'm sure she'll accept your request (she did mine, after all). But if you're too shy, this is a sequel of sorts to the pg-13 fic how low can you go.

Honestly, he doesn't think that it could possibly get worse than this. That, however, is something that he'll come to regret articulating when he ends up a long way from home, in a world where life is a fight for survival.

Whoops, it's been a little while since my last post. Not sure if anyone really cares that much anymore xD But oh well. Right now all of my files are backed up somewhere, including all of my favorite fanfiction and everything, so I'm having to rely on my vague memory and the couple of fics that I've printed out to recommend things. When I get everything that was on my hard drive back then this should pick up a little (ohgodihopethey'renotcorruptedorsomething/momentarypanic). Though there's still lots of bands I haven't read fic for that I need to get around to, too. So, stuff. Anyway.

I really really like Timeless. It's not perfect or anything, but it just. There's that feeling of being no one else in the world but them, and it's really nice. Hangeng and Heechul don't really talk to each other at all (except to say each-other's names) because of the language barrier, but they still communicate well, and it's just interesting to read. It's all very sweet, I think. And it's a nice idea.

Oh gosh, Spirits and Sidewalks. I'm really in love with this one. It's so dreamy and confusing- and Key being a fox is so very appropriate. There's not so much I can say about this one- I don't want to spoil it, or ruin the dreamy, lovely, hazy mood of it all.

There's a playlist that comes with this fic- I really recommend listening to it while you read. If she ever has a playlist for her fics, or a song that inspired it; listen.

Acts of Contrition: The Beginning of the Acts!Verse.

I feel like it's only appropriate to start up this Tumblr with an appropriately epic fic rec, by the appropriately epic co-authors at web-of-thorns.

and that fic is... Acts of Contrition.

Acts of Contrition Title: Acts of Contrition (Complete) Rating: NC-17 (overall) Warning(s): Violence, language, graphic m/m sex Pairing(s): HoMin, JaeChun, HoSu, JaeChunMin JaeSuChun, YunChun, JaeHo, MinSu, HoMinSu, OT5 Summary: The Imperial Guard is the elite combative force of the Empire. Changmin Shim was lucky to even get recruited. But when a mission goes wrong and he finds himself stranded behind enemy lines, it's up to his former Captain to get him back. No matter the cost.

Acts of Contrition is... probably one of the best fanfics I have ever read in my life (second only to The Shoebox Project. Maybe.) If you read this one, prepare to be hooked on the Acts!verse and spending the next couple of weeks of your life reading all the sequels (as well as the sort of alternative story starring YunChun- Dune, inspired by Enemy Mine and... Dune.) I love the sprinkling of mythology throughout all of it... The Guard ship that Changmin, Yunho, and Junsu live on in the beginning is called the Acheron, the planet Jaejoong and Yoochun live on is called Elysia, Changmin's home planet is Annwn (which is all the more heartbreaking when you read Acts of Succession), etc. etc.

The best things about this fic are... every single thing, I swear. The characterization and character development? Spot on, amazing. I feel like I've learned things from these characters and how they've grown that I've never learned anywhere else. The plot? It never stops, it's wonderful, there's tension, there's growth. Even when they're having sex there's a plot. Even if the whole chapter is just them having sex, there's something happening there besides just sex. You know how amazing that is? It is so amazing. You're constantly in suspense, hoping for a happy ending, afraid there isn't going to be one. Your heart breaks and is stuck back together again over and over. It is wonderfully, deliciously painful but pleasurable. The perfect balance of salty sweet.

I could go on about this wonderful, amazing, awesome, action-filled, love-filled, beautiful universe forever, but you should go explore it yourself. I don't care if you don't like sci-fi, or if you don't know DBSK that well, read this fic, now.

And then read it again. And again.
