A few reminders, and a question!

I hope you all had a very happy Halloween event!

November is rolling in with some nice new monthly pets. Don’t forget to grab them in the wake of the token chaos!

I’d also like to give a quick reminder to check in around Thanksgiving just in case the staff decides to release a few holiday items! It’s not a guarantee of course - but it would be a shame to miss out! Usually for holidays like this the pets and/or items will be available for a couple of days. But it’s always hard to know until it happens!

And yes it’s a little early - but I also want to remind members new and old that the advent calendar will be giving out new gifts every day in December! With that of course I’ll bring back my visual December 18th list pet guides. But I want to know what you want to know! Do you have any suggestions for any guides or informational posts regarding the 18th - or trading in general? Send me an ask! I want to get this blog moving again with some useful advice. :) Thank you all for your support!

tbh I’m a little surprised at how many people give out tricks instead of treats.

This is my first year playing at all, and those whom I’ve talked to about the whole LOLO thing, said they only give out tricks if they don’t like the story/dressup, or if they find the person breaking some sort of rules or something. And that makes sense to me, so I wanted to do the same. But several days into playing, and every 6th or 7th person has given me a trick. And idk it just doesn’t feel good?

Is this a Pearl themed pony adopt? Can CS do that? Didn’t they get in trouble for making Warrior Cat adopts?

As far as my understanding goes, the warrior cats were actually the "REAL" WC designs, so they would get in trouble for copyright reasons.

As for this litter, as well as the one they did on ghibli movies, they aren't actually using the characters from the show. Pearl isn't actually a pony. They are just drawing inspiration from the characters and their color palettes, and using those to create the pets. In which case they count as just "inspired from SU", not actual copies of the characters.

A Couple Things

There are a few things on the blog that I want to address, so I figured I’d say everything I want to say in one go.

First of all, to “/post/149580916649/”; I’ve felt the same way many times. I can be so awkward it hurts. Though you can’t delete your posts, you can edit them and remove whatever you regret saying. If the evidence is gone, it might take a load off of your mind.

Secondly, does anyone else wish cover adopts were still allowed? I loathe using the Oekaki and can only access Chicken Smoothie on mobile, but I’d love to create a species myself. For what reason were cover adopts banned, anyway? Why the hell do Kalons get away with it?

Finally, can people stop complaining to the moderators about the salt on the blog? You’re within your rights to dislike what is being said; I don’t agree with everything posted here, either. However, Owl, Tree, Deer, and Spook aren’t the authors of these posts. They’re just here to provide a service, regardless of their beliefs, and you should respect them.
