I know it's been out for like a whole day by now, and this is sort of necroposting maybe (literally in my case ig), but WOW I am seeing entirely too much hate for this ending. 😭

I honestly don't understand what more you could ask for??? The kiss was very Aziraphale, I could not see him going all in like people expected. I thought it was very demure and in-character. It was adorable, and it MEANT THE WORLD TO CROWLEY LOOK AT HIS FACEEEEEE.

I mean come on, they'll love each other in every universe and now they've found the one where they can be together with no cosmic strings attached, and that's beautiful I literally don't care 💔💔

Don't wanna hear all that "it's not really them" shit either lalalalalalalaaa

If you didn't get anything out of that absolutely gorgeous finale just because it didn't wrap up with a protracted ao3 smut sequence I genuinely feel terrible for you and I wish things weren't so. If you think it felt rushed that's because it was, but the alternative was literally nothing, and a wonderful but slight something is better than nothing.
