had the funniest possible interaction this weekend
Person in my gas station talking to someone on the phone: ...We're in Ohio...
Me, knowing we're in Utah: ????
Thank you for the map for context. It makes this 1,000 times funnier and intriguing.
just completed an important but relatively uncomplicated task that's been hanging over my head for 2 weeks straight. i have been having actual nightmares and anxiety over this, worrying i will never get it done. it took me all of 30 minutes and was lightly annoying but not terrible. the relief i feel is physically palpable, like a sword has been removed from my sternum. and yet! in the nature of the human spirit! i will learn nothing from this experience!
so jealous of ppl who live places where agave grows i see pictures of agave flowering and it looks so crazy
i would start fangirling so hard if i met her irl.....
Unprocessed tequila is beautiful
Started using phone time to read library ebooks instead of scrolling and it’s made me back into the crazy voracious reader I was at age 12. i’ve been averaging a book a day this week. everyone delete your social media and get your ass on libby
swooping in to let ppl know if they ask their public library alot of them have ebook apps associated with their library and all you need is to register for a library card you can also use it as a way to check for books you want or reserve/request books for pickup at your local public library
i fucking love libraries
The great thing about Gus is that he perfectly oscillates from playing the annoyed straight man to Shawn’s general insanity to yes-anding to an insane degree. For every moment where he says no Shawn, you did not hear that both ways there’s a moment where he, with no prompting, claims that his fictitious grandmother with a broken hip was teaching a line dancing class. For every time he says Shawn, stop messing around at work, there is a time where after Shawn says he’s been “looking at the man in the mirror”, Gus, in a move that never ever fails to make me laugh, with a completely straight face and no impact on the conversation, does the Michael Jackson “he-he”. He’s insane. He thinks he’s normal. He does 11 point turns. He’s a sympathetic crier.
brb trying this
my favorite genre of fictional character is like "i am terrifying to almost everyone, i'm very good at killing, i can endure anything, i've become exceptionally good at playing into my reputation, and if you try to give me positive social interaction i will react with confusion and cower in a corner like an abused animal. and i may try to shoot you. but there is also a chance i may imprint on you like a feral dog receiving its first loving touch! good luck."
Only 30 days until the mystery, point-and-click game, Alex Hill: Whispers at White Oak Inn, releases! Be sure to wishlist it on Steam and tell your friends!
"A young woman died near the White Oak Inn. Now, her spirit is roaming around, and an employee is receiving strange letters. What dark secrets wait to be found? The clock is ticking and you, as Alex Hill, must uncover the truth before it’s too late."
verdict: innocent
