In Cambodia, a rapid response team is helping to save some of the world's largest and most critically endangered fish when they end up as bycatch.

Conservationists have worked with local governments and fishing communities along the Mekong River to build trust and cooperation. Now they have a 24 hour hotline to call in case of a megafish catch--last year 92 megafish from four endangered species were tagged and released alive thanks to this work.

Crested Caracara being allopreened by two Black Vultures! This is such an interesting behavior and one that's typically one-way (preening by vultures to caracara). Here you can see the caracara either attempting to reciprocate but getting rebuffed by both vultures, or telling them to stop for now.

Hello there Vincent here! Here is a preliminary price list I put together recently. As you can see, the offer consists mainly of works created on paper using pencil or ballpoint pen. Shading comes at an extra cost, but this is negotiable, as I can shade any piece in a simple, sketchy style. I’m not drawing the background, because I’m not going to pretend I can’t draw it properly.As for eldritch horror, I am referring here generally to body horror, surrealism, and transhumanist works. I mainly draw human and humanoid figures, but I don't mind drawing various kinds of creatures. I also try to draw mechanical elements and mechs.

what would you advice for the ones who will work on their own manga?

(i wanna draw my manga but i need some advices from people who draw manga, can you help me with it)

Start with something small first. A few 4 panel strips for example. Then Try a 2 pager, then a 4 pager, 8 pager etc. This will allow you to fail a lot faster and learn by doing so. And trust me, there's a lot of shit you can fail at in this interdisciplinary form of art! Another important thing (at least I noticed this for myself), make sure to finish your storyboard before you go into inking. All of it. Don't leave out some pages thinking "I'll do that later". That can be a huge motivation killer and can lead to you doing work that you end up scrapping, because you changed your mind. The storyboard can be super simple, literal stick figures will suffice. Also, just read a lot of stuff, save pages you like for reference, analyze other mangaka/comic artists.
