pondering over whether i turn bedo into a sort of fandomless portrayal or at least one where genpact is not the main verse i default to so like ,,, if there are any particular verses (fandom related or based on genre/vibes) u seek i'm definitely open to suggestions ♡

albedo hcs lets go

albedo’s   body   is   functionally   human.   they   are   a   near   perfect   recreation   of   human   anatomy   and   physiology      —      he assumes that any   differences   are things   rhinedottir   either   deemed   a   challenge   to   achieve,     or   a   requirement   of   him. they   do   not   need   as   much   food,   water,   or   sleep   to   survive   in   the   longterm   as   a   human   would,     they're much more resistant of harsh temperatures / conditions, and   they   age   at   a   vastly   different   pace ;          indeed   being   childlike   at   one   point   with   rhinedottir,     and   appearing   to   be   around   their   mid-twenties   nearly   500   years   later.   albedo   is   not   technically   immortal,    but   extremely   resilient,     extremely   hard   to   take   out,    and   fairly   quick   to   heal / recover   from   grave   wounds.

albedo   emits   the   same   corrosive   effect   as   rhinedottirs’   rift   hounds,    tenfold.   they   can   limit   and   increase   the   levels   of   this,     but   they’re   yet   to   figure   out   any   way   to   cut   it   off   at   will     —     in   an   average   setting,     he’s   withholding   the   corrosion   enough   that   it   doesn’t   affect   anybody   in   mondstadt;        he   is   however   worried   about   what   constant   exposure   even   at   low   levels   will   do   to   a   normal   person,     and   it’s   just   another   reason   for   albedo   to   keep   themself   so   isolated   up   on   dragonspine   a   lot   of   the   time.

albedo   “losing control”   would   absolutely   include   a   complete   breakdown   of   their   command   over   the   corrosion   with   immediate   &   devastating   effects   :)

also!   he   has   some   control   over   the   rifthounds   themselves.   yes,      he   knows   they’re   popping   up   in   mondstadt   now     —     no,     he   doesn’t   know   why,     but   he’s   trying   his   best   to   keep   them   reigned   in   and   his   little   secret.

while   they   are   conventionally   beautiful   you   will   get   weird   ass   vibes   from   albedo   sometimes.   you   might   get   a touch of uncanny   valley   or   just   —    a   sense   that   something   is   off   with   them,     despite   there   being   almost   nothing   about   his   appearance   to really   tip   you   off.   their   eyes   are   an   unnaturally   vibrant   blue,    they   can   be   totally   and   utterly   still   for   extended   periods   of   time     (   something   they   try   to   keep   on   top   of  and   not   freak   anyone   out   over,     but   if   they’re   v   invested   in   whatever   they’re   doing   it’s   something   easily   forgotten   ) and their body language might come across in a strange way, among other things
