My headcanon about Chance and his friendship with Elliot (text under cut!)

The thing with Chance is that, after what iTrapped did to him, it took him a long time to recover from that betrayal once he joined Forsaken. So when he and Elliot started becoming better friends (in my vision and according to my story arc), Chance needed quite a while to push aside the doubts in his head — things like "He'll leave too," "This is only temporary," "Nobody needs you," and all those thoughts that made him feel lonely. But in the end, he still managed to take the risk and trust Elliot — and he didn't regret it.
