I kind of want the demons from PIDW to have a certain innate evil in them. Kind of like the demons from Frieren, but it's only slightly milder. The demons in Frieren are basically complete evil, not exactly because they want to be but it's just how they are. That's simply how they were born, they have no remorse, and that's completely normal for them even if they don't necessarily derive any pleasure from it. It's literally impossible for them to be 'good' because their race is (or might as well be) the personification of evil.

I lowkey want to see a fic like this, preferably with Moshang because Shang Qinghua is my favourite but it goes hard for Luo Binghe too, because no matter if he's treated kindly or horribly, he still ends up being obsessive over Shen Qingqiu.

Like, 'I want to possess and keep you so badly, and I know you want me to be kind but it's literally impossible for me to be that.'

Not my usual SQH posts but since I'm a sucker for side characters, I'm just wondering, why isn't Gongyi Xiao's issues more talked about?

This is the guy that genuinely did nothing wrong throughout the whole of SVSS, and was given such an unfair death simply because he shared the features of Luo Binghe. His teacher– The old palace master only ever favoured him because of how similar he looked to Su Xiyan.

Literally every horrible thing that happened to him was all because he had the misfortune of looking like someone else. He was forced into the shadow of two people, and with how obsessed the old palace master was with Su Xiyan, Gongyi Xiao was also probably being unknowingly groomed by him too.

Genuinely, you cannot convince me this guy doesn't have any identity issues.

Scumplane anddd the last pic is an au I've been playing around with for a while, basically XF is a god and Luo Binghe (Bingzu, maybe) is the angel that accompanied him to another universe.

Wait I got a weird idea, SY getting so frustrated with PIDW that he started writing his own fanfiction where airplane (that shitty ass author) gets the worst fate imaginable– being in a relationship with the scum villain.

In his fic, airplane (the name doesn't change) is an writer NPC hated by those around him for publishing INCREDIBLY sexual novels and is regarded a pervert...but of course he still has somewhat of a backstory! SY isn't that low as to make that author's self-insert (that he himself made) one-dimensional! There still needs to be plot, tension in the budding romance of the scum villain and the perverted writer!

He makes the fic, publishes it, gets a fuck ton of attention and XF sees it. Of course he leaves a few comments too. And engages with it. It's literally a fanfic about him and his scum villain falling in love! Creepily enough, the character inspired by him that SY made is actually so accurate to himself that XF considers looking around his apartment for hidden cameras.

Time skip forward, XF dies and instead of being transmigrated as SQH, he wakes up as the perverted author that SY made in his fanfiction. He doesn't register it that he's inside a fanfiction until SJ's first appearance.

I want scum plane except Shen Jiu is lowkey possessive and toxic because I think ppl often water down Shen Jiu's character and soften him wayyy too much as if he wasn't a horrible person that actually did deserve to die. Airplane, or XF on the other hand, is physically weak, has low esteem and can be a bit of a pushover, (and perhaps even an opportunist)– perfect match in hell!

Headcanon that Xiang Fei grew up in an incredibly strict, conservative family that emotionally abused him until both his parents got divorced and he just got neglected after that.

He still had to carry the trauma, and would use PIDW as an outlet for all the shit he had to go through.

This came to me after i was rereading SVSS and i thought, 'Luo Binghe being pushed into the river by Su Xiyan hoping he'd live is kind of like what happened to Moses and his mom'

I don't really know how to expand on this thought, but I kind of want Xiang Fei (unknowing of Bingzu) when he first transmigrates to have a breakdown thinking that since he created PIDW, all these people are suffering because of him and he's such a lousy, cruel and incompetent god.

Not a SQH post but since Ming Fan is one of my fav characters somehow, i wonder what he'd be like as a peak lord. If this were the original PIDW and Shen Jiu just dropped dead for whatever reason and he had to pick up the slack on the peak, i can def see him becoming a milder version of Shen Jiu considering that man was the person he looked up to.

Post-Shen Yuan though, he'd be more tolerable, but i still like the idea of him taking on more of Shen Jiu's traits than Shen Yuan, honestly.

Weaponsmith NPC! Xiang Fei, where even before he got transmigrated, he always had an insane fascination with weaponry and wants to integrate modern weapons into PIDW. (Guns mostly, cough cough)

But despite being super good at making these, he's also really afraid of using them himself. "Yes, i create overpowered nuclear shit, and I do know how to use them but god forbid i actually do– i know my weapons, yeah? They're dangerous as hell!"

I'm suggesting this as an excuse for Xiang Fei to use guns lol

I'm kinda of starting to see the appeal of shang qinghua x yue qingyuan ngl, but i don't wanna separate the sadsack from Shen jiu so he can join too

Maybe Shang Qinghua will help his shixiong save Shen jiu and driven by gratitude, yue qingyuan will try to repay him or something.

Or maybe Shang Qinghua rescues Shen Jiu from slavery and takes him to the sect somehow, earning him a debt that Shen Jiu wants to pay back and it ends with Shen Jiu falling in love (then Yue Qingyuan) Though, I really want to see a fic like this but it's one-sided on qijiu's part, because Shang Qinghua is only helping them to save his own ass in the end.

this is how I think Yue Qingyuan x Shang Qinghua x Shen Jiu happens:

Shang Qinghua both pulls Yue Qingyuan and Shen Jiu like separately. he gets to interact with Yue Qingyuan on "important" sect bullshit that ends up on them probably chilling, drinking, smoking, whatever and having late night conversations.

at first they just talk about sect matters but eventually it devolves into Shang Qinghua crashing over at Yue Qingyuan's abode because "look at this high quality wine I swiped- I mean, got! wanna get wasted?" since he knows Yue Qingyuan won't get to sleep anyways and he won't get to sleep anyways.

Yue Qingyuan indulges Shang Qinghua but gradually he finds that he genuinely wants to spend time with him the more they do these weekly late night hangouts. sometimes they get fall asleep in the middle of the lull and Yue Qingyuan wakes up with Shang Qinghua curled up around him and he thinks, "I don't want this to end."

but I think he doesn't make the moves on Shang Qinghua because he's more of course, focused on Shen Jiu at this time and he doesn't really let himself think about anything he's feeling towards Shang Qinghua because that would be such a betrayal to Shen Jiu and he is weighed down by enough guilt already.

meanwhile Shen Jiu is honestly down for Shang Qinghua if Shang Qinghua just made the first move.

Shen Jiu is definitely the "you're chasing me" rather than the other way around but the problem here is that Shang Qinghua is infinitely oblivious.

their interactions started just one ordinary day. honestly, Shang Qinghua wasn't even thinking on touching the original plot or anything but...

look, he feels bad for his villain son! and trying to Not See is honestly harder than it seems so maybe he mouthed off Liu Qingge one peak lord meeting and maybe defended Shen Jiu from both Qi Qingqi and Liu Qingge when they were ragging on his poor son. I mean, Shen Jiu was right! although spoken with venom, he was right and Shang Qinghua just wanted this meeting to be over.

Shen Jiu however, being the paranoid bitch (affectionate) that he is, invites Shang Qinghua over for some tea to gauge what does this guy want from me?

although Shang Qinghua was scared shitless, soon enough he finds himself being invited more and more for some reason?? (Shen Jiu finds him increasingly pleasant to be around and okay maybe he's a little bit lonely but he won't ever admit that no, this is for finding out Shang Qinghua's intentions yes, it's just taking a while... he needs more information!)

it didn't take a while though for Shen Jiu to realize his feelings for Shang Qinghua so he just... comes at him aggressively.

(or maybe it's less him figuring out what he actually feels but more like, I need this rat to be mine and no that doesn't mean anything nada. I don't know I'm kinda stumped on Shen Jiu but compared to Yue Qingyuan who doesn't let himself get closer because of Shen Jiu, Shen Jiu himself has no qualms of getting another person, fuck you Qi-ge he's still bitter.)

though eventually, an opportunity to reunite QiJiu comes by and Shang Qinghua didn't hesitate to grab it because c'mon, now that he's close to these two people he wants to see their happy ending! or at the very least, see their misunderstandings be resolved because he can't stand walking on eggshells around the topic of the other when he hangs out with one of them (also peak lord meetings has additional tension with these two's history and it's AWKWARD).

so. QiJiu reunites, they cry and sob and tearfully resolve their misunderstandings (how did Shang Qinghua do it, maybe its a truth serum, maybe it's something else, either way he did it, yay!). of course it wasn't a one day fix but their relationship is significantly better to the point where... they even talk about Shang Qinghua when it's just them two.

I feel like Yue Qingyuan will open up the conversation about Shang Qinghua, and how amazing he is, and how he always came late at night to chat about sect matters, usually with wine, sometimes with stories, rarely with weed medicinal herbs he said to swipe from Mu Qingfang (who knows btw I'd like to think this is his way of getting Shang QInghua his meds, kinda like how you'd pretend to drop food on the table so your dog would eat the food-covered medicine.)

and Shen Jiu just hums and says "I like Shang-shidi as well." Yue Qingyuan would sputter but will just sigh and say yes, I guess I like him as well.

(I'm speedrunning this because it's getting way too long but there's definitely a lot of time in between QiJiu getting together and then QiJiu attempting to bag Shang Qinghua as well. they still hang out with Shang Qinghua but they also hang out with each other as well for some time before they even get officially together. I don't know I just thought I should mention it wasn't like a quick thing, they are definitely slow burn 100%)

and you know what, they aren't even slow burn because they want to take things slow with Shang Qinghua, as soon as they talked to each other about it (which is wow, QiJiu communication? only because the topic is Shang Qinghua <3) they immediately get to work to coaxing their third into the relationship but...

Shang Qinghua is just infinitely dense.

at first they thought he was playing hard to get but no, he genuinely doesn't understand that QiJiu wants him. their subtle attempts become more and more bold until eventually they're just like "we like you" and Shang Qinghua just brushes them off with like "hahaha, you guys can't mean that, you have each other already. sorry to say I won't be sitting in the cuck chair or let you guys sit in one."

("what the fuck is a cuck chair," Shen Jiu says. "I don't know," Yue Qingyuan sighs, used to Shang Qinghua's... Shang Qinghua-ness.)

eventually Shen Jiu and Shang Qinghua got paired up again with some mission and somehow somewhat they both got sex pollened! and while this isn't really part of the plan, Shen Jiu knows an opportunity when he sees one so he seizes it, wraps up the mission, and books it to Qiong Ding Peak at top speed.

"oh no Zhangmen-shixiong whatever shall we do," Shen Jiu drawls, as both he and Shang Qinghua are half naked in Yue Qingyuan's house, "me and Shang-shidi are affected by a sex flower and will die (mildly inconvenienced by horniness) if we don't get fucked right now."

and no matter how dense Yue Qingyuan may be, he can't not pick-up what Shen Jiu is putting down.

they have filthy, nasty sex with a sweet and soft aftercare and everything. and while QiJiu is like "hell yeah we secured the hamster, surely now he knows we care a lot for him" Shang Qinghua is all like "damn that was actually good sex, too bad they either hate me or only want me for sex or something there's no way they want me the way I want them."

I'm losing steam at this point can you tell anyways it takes a few more fucking and talking and heart to hearts to finally let Shang Qinghua know oh shit these guys want want me.

I really would wanna see SQH and YQY get high off of weed now, ngl. And OH MY GODDD, i wanna read more about the other peak lords/lady noticing!! Like, "Yeah, we know those two have problems (Shen Jiu and Yue Qingyuan) but when did Shang Qinghua get involved with those two?"

Would it come as a surprise if they were to find out those three got into a relationship? I feel like they'd be sorry for SQH at first because Shen Jiu and Yue Qingyuan have a long history of making peak meetings awkward, and it's like "You don't know what you're getting yourself into" kind of thing. They'd be supportive though, i think.

Au where Cang Qiong finds out that Shang Qinghua has been consorting with demons way earlier, and instead of thinking he's spying against them, they think he's spying FOR them.

This belief is strengthened when they find out Shang Qinghua has been using demonic means to recreate modern inventions into his peak (specifically air conditioners), and they assume that their shidi/shixiong is trying to smuggle demon shit to make their peak, and eventually, the entire sect into a more comfortable and powerful place.

They're so touched, but also like 'That's dangerous! Maybe you should stop while you still can.' but then Mu Qingfang interrupts them with the, 'You have access to the Northern kingdom? Can you get this (very illegal and dubious plant that might be helpful to deep wounds/injuries, but can cause a lot of pain and is just straight up unethical to use) i wanna try experimenting with it.'

This ends with the rest of the sect asking Shang Qinghua to get them something from the demon realm, and Shang Qinghua wants to cry because of the workload and also technically because he unintentionally betrayed both Mobei-jun and the sect by acting as a double spy for each of them.

I hc that Xiang Fei was good at cooking, baking, slicing– anything that had any correlation to the kitchen. So when he got transmigrated, he wanted to try to recreate modern dishes into PIDW.

He started when he was young, trying to make do with the little he had and if he ever left extras or needed taste testers, he'd just ask the street rats since he doesn't have friends lol.

This keeps going even in his disciplehood, and he keeps up with his little tradition of using street kids as taste testers.

His food is absolutely heavenly, by the way. Like absolute top notch, that only gods should be eating and the fact that he easily gives his shit away kind of makes him a bit of a minor celebrity to the less fortunate children.

Maybe the Peak Lords find out and are touched by his 'kindness' or something. Or his disciples also do and they end up wanting to try his food too.

I wanna see Xiang Fei feed Mobei-jun extremely spicy foods that he made (like a knock-off version of buldak), and Mobei-jun trying his hardest to finish it.
