You guys have to understand that the translation completely omits the funny thing which is that Anna used the word スマホ (sumaho) for the flipphone. It's derived from "smartphone"; its a loan word in the Japanese language. That word didn't exist back in 1999 so to Mikuru she's basically saying gibberish. She's correcting her with the word 携帯電話 (keitai denwa) meaning "mobile phone", which is very much a Japanese word instead of English so it really ties the whole thing together for me LMAO

my thoughts about Caine's model lacking many essential facial features (as if he was never intended to show any emotions) and yet him being literally the most expressive character in the circus despite everything.

me being low-key obsessed with the implications episode 7 left us with. Players questioning everything they've been told and Caine being in the center of it all.

I want them all to be healed and happy, little guy absolutely included, but man the situation is rough, and the odds are against us

Reasons Fox McCloud is Trans

Idolizes/looks for guidance in male authority figures (idolizes his father and tries desperately to follow in his footsteps, has a begrudging respect for Wolf, gets a lot of guidance from Peppy, etc).

Small. Like, really small. (As a tiny trans dude, being short can really suck, especially pre-T because people think you’re a young kid).

Chose the name Fox for some fucking reason (I headcanon that his legal name isn’t even “Fox” and it was just a placeholder but even after figuring out what name he wanted everyone just kept calling him Fox and he just gave up on being called anything else (sometimes Slippy or Falco will call him his new legal name tho)).

His voice is surprisingly young, especially in the early games. Seriously, he sounds really fucking young, and I feel like him either being Pre-T or in the early stages of it could easily explain it. By SSBU his voice has gotten a lot deeper and it’s because he’s been on T for a long time.

And the most important reason: because I’m trans and I relate with Fox. ((Feel free to hit me up for more headcanons/ideas for this)).

I see a lot of fanfiction/art of Fox McCloud interpreting him as more of a stoic, modest “good guy” character.. I like to think the opposite.
