Propaganda im falling for: bottom Hamza 🤤🤤🤤
I Know What You Are [ Hamza x Uzair ]
Summary; Rehman Dakait knows about the romance between Hamza and Uzair, however neither of them never make the first move. So, he confronts them both one fateful night.
Warnings: nothing serious, all of this work is purely based on the fictional side of Dhurandhar and does not support the real-life counterparts. Also, this is my first time writing on tumblr.
Rehman Dakait could read his brother like an open book. It took years and years of bonding, trusting and living in the same house, but now all he has to do is glance to understand the other’s thoughts and emotions.
Which is why he is now sitting at his throne, pondering while glaring at his cigarette. Uzair, his naive, trusting Uzair, was clearly in love with the newcomer, Hamza.
Hamza Ali Mazari.
It wasn’t very surprising that Uzair got a silly “crush” on Hamza, most of the men in the city upon seeing him wanted to be him, or be with him (for only one night, of course. No one here had love in their hearts, only lust.)
But Uzair. . . Uzair’s eyes signalled something deeper. Something more than lust. Adoration. Love.
Once, when he had told this observation to Ulfat (he tells her everything), she pointed out that he looks at Hamza in the same way Rehman looks at her.
So it was clear like glass, Uzair Baloch was undoubtedly, in love with Hamza Ali Mazari.
It didn’t tick him off that it was Hamza. The man had proven his loyalty multiple times. It didn’t tick him off that the two were both men, he did not care for that when it came to his brother.
No, what ticked him off is that the two are oblivious to each other, when it is painfully obvious to others that they have something going between them. And that neither of them were taking the initiative.
Rehman took a long drag of his cigarette. It seems that he’ll have to get involved.
“Do you know why Rehman bhai is calling us?” Uzair asked, white-knuckled hands on the wheel.
“Why are you worried, yaar?” Hamza said casually, masking his own confusion, “He probably needs some help with some political drama.”
Uzair sighed, then made a very humorous gagging noise, “Eugh, politics.” he muttered and Hamza laughed.
Hamza laughed.
Suddenly, time stopped. It was just the two of them, staring at each other, laughing, while Uzair drank up every detail of Hamza — his eyes, his laughter, his smile—
He gulped and focused on the road. He would prefer to reach his brother’s home safely.
“We’re here,” Uzair hit the brakes, opening the car door, “Don’t start any bullshit with my brother like you did last time, okay? Otherwise I would have to bury a best friend.”
“Best friend?” Hamza questioned, an eyebrow raised.
“Comrade?” Uzair corrected, a grin on his face
Hamza hummed as he opened the door, letting Uzair enter. Although the two considered each other as equals, they were still on different levels politically. Uzair was the brother of the king of Lyari, while Hamza was just another loyal servant of said king.
“Bhai, we’re here!” Uzair yelled out, “He’s probably resting in his throne-chair.”
Following Uzair, Hamza’s mind ran through conclusions and theories. Why did Rehman want to meet the two of them at such a late hour? The most certain answer was that he just needed some people to be executed brutally just for the sake of his political stance. But a nagging thought remained, of whether he found out, and what would be left of Hamza.
“Bhai? Kya hua?” Uzair opened the door, where the two saw Rehman, lying on his throne, a cigarette resting between his fingers.
“There you are,” Rehman chuckled, “Come in, you two.”
The two exchanged a look, then entered.
Uzair finally asked, “Bhai, why have you called us? Who’s troubling you at this hour?” . Rehman cackled. Confusion was etched on the duo’s faces once more.
“Oh, you two.” Rehman said, “I meant it’s you two troubling me.”
Uzair frowned while Hamza gulped. The two did their level-best to please Rehman, especially Hamza.
“Bhai…” Hamza started nervously, “What did we do to anger you?”
“Is it redeemable?” Uzair asked.
Rehman smirked, as if it were a joke, “No need to be so dramatic. You two are just some troublesome boys.”
The duo became slightly relaxed. Thought Uzair was still frowning, “Bhai, just tell us. What happened? The last thing we did was —”
Rehman put a hand up to signal him to stop. Uzair stopped talking immediately.
“You two,” Rehman started, “are very oblivious boys.”
Following the silence, Rehman continued, “For the past few months, I’ve been observing things more.” He shifted in his seat, “and the most interesting and most obvious thing was the relationship between you two.”
The two exchanged a glance, before Uzair smiles and raises an eyebrow, “Bhai, what do you mean?” He asked, “Stop beating around the bush, and just tell us what it is!”
“Uzair, wait.” Hamza said, and suddenly the impatience in his face evaporated. Rehman observed this and chuckled.
Rehman took a drag of his cigarette, before continuing, “This interaction,” He says, “is something that would happen between an old married couple, no?”
The two immediately stilled.
“Bhai, kya bol rahe ho?” Uzair snapped.
Rehman smiled, flicking the ash with his thumb.
“Uzair, Hamza, you are clever enough to understand what I’m saying,” Rehman states, “and you know, I think it’s you two who are beating around the bush.”
Uzair’s face was red, by rage or embarrassment, Rehman could only guess.
Hamza, on the other hand, was still and shocked, his eyes bulging out. He opened and closed his mouth, unable to form even a word.
“Rehman bhai,” Hamza starts, surprisingly, “You must have misunderstood—”
“Don’t tell me that, boy.” Rehman grunts, “You and I both know you’re lying.”
Hamza gulps, closing his mouth and lowering his head.
Uzair, however, was more bewildered.
“Rehman bhai, why would you call us to discuss these… unimportant things?” He hissed, “That’s it, I’m going home. Hamza—”
Rehman blows a raspberry, pointing at Uzair, “There it is, the married couple.”
“Fuck off, bhai,” Uzair swore and grabbed Hamza by the wrist, dragging him along, “I told Hamza not to start with bullshit, but then Rehman starts with it instead…” he muttered under his breath.
As they left, Rehman took another long drag, puffing out a cloud of smoke into the air, smirking.
And when Ulfat asked in the morning, “Did you talk to Uzair?” Rehman threw his head back and laughed.
“The stubbornness runs in the family, dear.” He said, “He went all red in the face and Hamza was still, like he saw a ghost.”
“Dear, you must’ve embarrassed him. Why couldn’t you talk to him privately?” Ulfat scolded.
Rehman shrugged, “Two birds with one stone, no?”
Ulfat pinched the bridge of her nose, “you made things more tense now, didn’t you?”
Rehman smiled, “Well, that’s my job, isn’t it?” He looks at the television, playing the news, “To make things tense.”
Hamza and Uzair were seated in the car, before Hamza broke the silence.
“Do you think it was the hickeys on my neck that gave it away?”
Uzair put his hands on his face, throwing his head back, “Good fucking grief.”
Hamza chuckled, the tense atmosphere slowly evaporating. “A married couple. That’s apparently what we are?”
“Hamza.” Uzair warned.
Hamza threw his hands up, “I’m just saying, an old married couple, huh?”
“Hamza, oh my god.”
Hamza laughed whole-heartedly. He knew this wouldn’t last long, but. . .
For now, he enjoyed the moment, with Uzair grumbling with embarrassment, but still with love in his eyes.
thanks for reading folks. hope you enjoyed!!
matchmaker rehman is real. apparently.
Is it just me or the lyrics for Teri ni Kararan fit perfectly for Hamzair? I saw the english meaning in captions and was like Wait.A.Minute. They are the words of a betrayed lover and Uzair was heavily betrayed by Hamza. I'm going to add the English meaning of the lyrics from the captions here if anyone wants to see it immediately.
Lovers are meant to promise and stay
But the one who leaves has a price to pay
You showed me brightness then left me in ache
Pulled out my soul like it was yours to take
Your promises ruined me, my dear
Tell me what love gave me here?
You played those lover eyes from the winning lane
You walked off winning while I lost the game
Your weak heart suddenly learned to roar
That's why you turned your face and closed the door
Do something that people turn this into a song
Don't push me away darling, I'm not that strong
Your leaving cut me, tore my soul apart
Left me crazy with an empty heart
Like look, there's anger, hurt, yearning and questioning in those words but also love. SO MUCH LOVE. I was thinking Aakhri ishq could be their song but this is way more perfect in my mind.
Also I'm also reading Firaaq-e-kasak by @immortalconfluxmuse, not yet fully read but the emotions Uzair has in it fits perfectly for these lyrics. At least in my humble opinion.
Hamzair Animatic - I Thought I Saw Your Face Today
This is 18 seconds long, and I spent 4 hours on this. Thats fine.
This looks veery simple compared to my illustration style, cause like- animation, frames, stuff. [Ignore the fact that I re-used most frames-]
Anyways, guess who's typing this at exactly 2:00 AM? This guyyyy. Yayyyyyy
Its fine cause its Sunday🙃
Damn it, I'm rambling- sorry 'bout that-
Death was a gift from his lover₊˚ʚ ᗢ₊˚✧ ゚.
he really is his brother's shadow
he only stepped out of his shadow to reach for hamza
and left rehman in the dark
(none of these are edited btw they just doomed)
Almost every composer in history who has written about Krishna and Arjun has secretly shipped them and you can see it in the way that they write.
Because them being perceived as "just friends" completely dismantles their complex relationship. By portraying them as "just friends" it is not longer them. You may disagree them to be romantic, but you can agree that they're not "just best friends". You literally cannot write about them as simply platonic soulmates and bring out their level of devotion towards each other at the same time.
This is why I think in Kurukshetra they felt slightly distant, because other than the "I choose you as my charioteer" scene they didn't really have much going on.
Remember that they are HEAVY on the physical contact, gazes, and Krishna cannot stop talking about Arjun. He has to bring him into conversation EVEN WHEN HE'S NOT THERE WITH HIM. He has openly confessed his love for Arjun to SEVERAL people.
He's practically OBSESSED with Arjun. He's head over heels with him. This isn't platonic soulmate behaviour because we already have THE platonic soulmate relationship in Mahabharata. Krishna and Draupadi. They are THE example of platonic soulmates. They will die for each other but in a sibling kinda way absolutely. And it has been made clear by every writer through and through.
But what Krishna and Arjun have isn't platonic, and almost every writer, deep in their heart, knows it. Not just romantic either. Both terms do not apply to whatever the fuck those two have going on. Secret third thing, LITERALLY. Every time I read any text related to them it always feels like they wanna write them having a union but can't. Krishna and Arjun always seem like they're one hand brush away from going "fuck it." This isn't platonic behavior. But also not romantic. I think it's every single one of these terms packed into a blender and turned into a puree.
They're pathetic for each other and I'm not the one saying that. Any writer or adapter is.
It's been so long since I made a krishnarjun art. I made this around June 2025, and I focused on every little detail 🥹🩷
Any suggestions on what I should make next?
my beautiful baby ♡
To Rukmini: how do you deal with Krishna?🙃
Rukmini: *sitting there trying to find her one favorite kajal as distinct sounds of krishna running with about 29 other kids and fighting over "ok MY TURN" something. You would catch an occasional "MOVE I'M GAY" "Pita ji do mine next" as you observe ruk desperately running her memory ot where she saw krishna last as she fails to find her kajal, she is visibly distressed* I'm sorry you are saying?
I'm crazy
‘Krishna, could you talk a bit more about Radha?
Do you keep in touch or how you met or anything?’
~asked by @holding-infinity-and-a-book
Radha: apparently he is too busy picking the right flowers for Arjuna’s bath anyway
Yes I'm Kshatriya, because I fight for my country. Not fight with my country
Yes I'm Brahmin, because I learn and preach about my country and the martyrs. Not preach against my country.
Yes I'm Vaishya, because main apne desh ki growth ke liye sauda karta hu. Apne desh ka sauda nahi karta.
Yes I'm Shudra. Because main apni desh ko serve karta hu. Desh drohi ko nahi karta.
The One Who Holds My Reins
Oh Krishna, my dearest Madhav, I have seen my god in you- Your blue-hued gaze holding the vastness of the universe, The stars themselves moving at your silent command. Oh Keshava, my dearest Madhav, You weave fate with the flick of your wrist, Yet hold my reins with hands steady, patient, kind. You gather the shards of my broken mind, And in your embrace, I am whole again. I have heard your laughter, bright as rivers in spring, I have seen your stillness, deep as oceans before the storm. And now, I breathe your name- A prayer not spoken, but felt in the marrow of my soul. Hai Parameswara, Hai prabhu, You have lifted the veil from my eyes, Shown me dharma, my path, my truth. This war is no longer about me, my pride, my sorrow- It is the weight of the world, the will of time itself. Oh Janardana, father of the universe, In one breath, I bow down to you, Yet such is your simplicity, that in another breath- I can crumble into my sakha’s arms Oh Govinda, for your cause- I would shatter a thousand bows, a thousand destinies. And when the dust of war settles, When the echoes of battle fade into silence, It is not victory or defeat I will remember- But the chariot’s wheels turning beneath your steady hands, And the voice that called me back to myself.
