“How rude! Just because I’m out of commission due to my sun torture, doesn’t mean I’m dead!”
Mun Here.
Sorry for the late reply (as well to some other people), anon! Tumblr does a fantastic job of not alerting me sometimes with messages or asks. -sigh-
On a more serious note revolving about this blog, I’m a bit sad to say that it’s likely I’m not going to be as active as I was way back then. I’m pretty sure a majority of you already notice a while back I sort of drop off the face of the earth. It’s mostly due to I had to focus on my schooling and the heavy commuting that involved. Which also... burned me out in drawing purely for fun and interacting with others. Lol.
I did started this blog to de-stress and have fun, and I had many amazing memories here. But with college and other personal worries, I couldn’t really handled the stress in keeping a consistent active blog. That, and the fandom started to dwindle down a bit. Although I still visit the fandom sometimes, and may post (or reblog) art pieces here and there, I won’t be doing much for this blog.
Any mutuals I know, send a message if you feel like to rp or just chat! I still do private rping on the side when I can.
TDLR; With life and other commitments, I’m not going to be as active on Mama Krul blog much. Sorry, guys. ]:
I will keep the blog on though for memory sake and some of my artwork are directly posted on this blog. Lol. And maybe in the near future if the ons fandom is active again (if we get a season 3 -laughs-), I might just come back.
Human-free diet? That sounds suspicious, especially since she has no reason to give up humans as a food source. “Why? They are primary meals for most dragons last I knew.” On the bright side, she sounds confused when he mentions her being close to a human city, so maybe she is being truthful…but why? Ferid frowns slightly, but he tries to keep an open mind regarding this little dragon. She could be lost, but she might also simply be scared and desperate to save herself. It doesn’t help that he would like to have a dragon friend not only to please Krul but to have another creature like himself around to learn from…he shakes his head, dismissing those thoughts before Shinoa speaks once again.
A dragon willing to give servitude to a human? Well, it’s rare but she only heard it in rumors and can’t fathom why any dragons would do such a thing. Then again, the human probably conditioned him since he was young but this gives her a good idea how to approach the ice dragon now. Shinoa blinks upon hearing the dragon asking her reason being here, she perks up immediately, “Looking for a new place to live, the usual for any nomad dragon, really. Too big for the nest now so I can’t stay in my parents’ territory anymore. I heard it’s more warmer and less dragons occupied a little further east, so I’m heading there to check it out. Just hoping I”m going in the right direction.”
“Look, I’m not looking for any trouble, big guy. Honest! I’ll even turn into my human form and walk straight to the human city to show I mean no harm! Can’t eat a human when you’re a human yourself, right?” Well, technically there has been cases of such cannibalism but these days, humans consider it as a barbaric act and it’s not really the norm for their society. Something Shinoa would try not to draw attention to herself in her smaller disguise.
Ferid watches Krul leave, tempted as always to follow her but well aware that no other human would be nearly as accepting as Krul has been toward him. She has been careful to stress this fact, so he stays far from their villages and instead remains at home or roams the woods to ease his boredom when his caretaker isn’t around to play with. Speaking of which, as promised, he should start hunting so he has plenty of food for himself as well as his dear companion.
Ah? It looks the dragon is willing to talk it out. Good, good. Well, not too good since she can be eaten anytime soon. “H-Human? Ah, I had been on a human free diet for nearly a year! You don’t have to worry about me messing with your h-human~” Well, that diet was about two years ago until she was hungry and game was hard to hunt during the winter soooo. “Close to the city? Ah, I’m not from around this country and I’m merely a by-passer, big guy! Show a little mercy to this cute lost little dragon, won’t you?”
Shinoa notices that the ice dragon has move slightly away from the entrance, and only exit, of the hole but she dares not to go out just yet lest this is a trap for him to easily snatch her up. What should she do now? Just wait until he grows bored and leave her? No. Unlikely, if he has a human master that’s ordering him around to keep watch of everything. “Say, big guy, what’s your name?” Shinoa starts to chatter him as friendly as possible, hopefully gain the dragon’s pity to let her off, “You have a human master? If I remember correctly, this country have made dragon taming almost banned except in a few areas. Did you got yourself in a bad spot? I could try help you out getting out of your binding contract or subjugation spell.”
She wants him to hunt for another dragon rather than her? Ferid knows Krul has been trying to get him to become more independent of her, likely because it is so tiring for one human to care for a dragon of his size, so he will gladly put more effort into hunting on his own as well as for her if needed but she seems hesitant to have him hunt for her. Odd…Ferid blinks, tilting his head slightly. “Why would I hunt for a stranger? You have done so much for me, I would prefer to hunt for you and make you happy like you have painstakingly done for so long.” Which will hopefully also impress her plenty in the process and allow him to spend much more time with her than the usual human lifespan allows for. It would break his heart if he lost her that soon…ah, he really does have such little time to do this, doesn’t he?

Krul sighs. Nevertheless, she gives a weary smile and nods when the ice dragon states he’ll be back. It’s not like she wants to get rid of Ferid, and having the dragon waiting for her back home always make her days no longer lonely and look forward to. But again, she has to think Ferid’s well-being. Her life will be short and his will be forever longer. In the end, it might be the ice dragon that will suffer the most once she’s gone for good. She has to make sure he can live without her and hopefully with a family of his own so he won’t be crushed by sadness and solitary, much like herself years ago before she had Ferid.
With a wave, Krul heads off to the direction where she can meet a dragon expert to solve her problem. It always make her nervous leaving Ferid like this but it’s all too likely that, unless they’re an army, whoever try to hunt him would only have a death wish.

She knew taking this shortcut into this forest was a horrible idea! Shinoa silently wails to herself as she runs and tries to outdo her pursuer. An ice dragon. Of all things, an ice dragon?! She was only hunting some food and water for herself because it’s been days since she have eaten, and seeing this forest look like it was a saving grace in her long journey. That is, until she ran into this huge dragon that no doubt want to eat her!
Upon spying a small hole in a cluster of rocky hills, Shinoa scrambles and squeezes into the small crack of rocks. She huddles herself to the end of the space lest the ice dragon tries to reach in and claw her out with his long arm, or crush her in, whichever is the most likeliest. “I-I-I didn’t know this is your territory, big guy!” Granted, she didn’t expect an ice dragon to be down here and not up in the isolated mountains like most ice species would be. The smaller dragon desperately tries to bargain her life to her pursuer, “Uh, uh, let’s make a deal, big guy! You don’t eat cute little ol’ Shinoa here and uhh, I’ll help out whatever problem you got!”
It has been only a few short years, but already he now dwarfs his caretaker and can no longer huddle up to her in order to enjoy the comfort he still occasionally craves from her. Back then, he was a frightened hatchling that relied on Krul to protect and feed him so he naturally clung to her for support, but now that he is much larger and mature he seeks her companionship more than anything else. She has cared for him and ensured he has grown up safe and healthy, so it is only natural that Ferid later finds himself falling for her in a very different way than any other dragon would his mother. Krul shares no blood with him, so that is likely to blame, and thus he cannot help but want to stay with her rather than leave as she seems to desire.
All of his life Krul has been kind to him and coddled him even as he was able to finally do things by himself, and as a hatchling he appreciated and adored her for it but it was only around the age his species hits maturity that he began to change his view of her. Sadly, his recent attempts to impress her haven’t turned out too well and Krul has even been a little irritated by his clinginess. She used to love it, but maybe his size is too overwhelming for her? His caretaker is awfully tiny compared to him now, not that she is exactly tall for a human either, so maybe he needs to be gentler with her?
Ferid blinks as she yells at him and snaps him away from his thoughts, leaning down to set his nose close to her yet making no move to leave as she is so demanding him. Despite his protests, Krul seems to think it is better that he leave her side and go off to live with others of his own species rather than stay with her as he has since he was small. Truth be told, he can hunt and do everything he needs to, he just doesn’t want to leave. His caretaker has been his companion since he was fresh out of his egg, perhaps she wants him to care for her now? Is that what she means when she asks him to learn how to hunt and care for himself? Come to think of it, it must be tiring for her to hunt so much all on her own…
The ice dragon smiles, attempting to nuzzle his caretaker a bit in hopes of showing he understands her words prior to replying verbally as she has painstakingly taught him to do. “What do you want me to hunt for you? I can catch anything you want, I’ve been practicing while you are away when I got bored or wanted something else to eat.” Or when he realized she might want a stronger hunter, so he will need to become much more skilled if he is to impress her. Surely catching a good amount of wild game will impress her, hm?
Like an innocent child, the ice dragon merely interpret her words for something else and tries to rub affectionately against her the only way he can due to their size differences. Krul groans and tries to stop him in the middle of his nuzzling by place her arms in front of her and on his snout. She’s not sure how he got 'go to the mountains and learn dragon etiquette’ to ‘hunt food’. “You don’t have to hunt for me for anything.”
Well, she could work with this, right? “How about you hunt to share with another dragon? One you could find up in the mountains?” She tries to sway him again back to the right path of the topic. There are times, Krul wonders if she should have introduced Ferid earlier to other dragons when he was younger. Instead, she might have made him dependent on her for one reason or another, even though it seems he’s capable of feeding himself and taking care himself at the bare minimum. At least, better late than never, right? So she’ll try hard for Ferid’s future!
Krul sighs as she mulls a bit and rubs her forehead, “Alright. Just go hunting for whatever you need to eat. You can’t go to the mountains on an empty stomach, I suppose.” Maybe she should ask a dragon expert about this sort of thing. Krul nods to herself as she goes back into the house to get her cloak and things before she heads out, “I have to go to town to pick some things up so I’ll be back later.”
((Hello again! It’s been…almost a year now (ahahaI’msosorry-), but we’re back because of @lestkarrkingofeurope. Aaanyway, can you please like/reblog this if you’re interested in RPing with a Yoichi and Gekkoin? Thank you!))
Looking back fondly, she wonders how the cute small dragon that was no bigger than her one arm she adopted few years back is now this huge dragon that’s massively larger than the tallest building in her town and with a gluttonous appetite that can’t seem to be full for more than a day. It’s a good thing that the two live on the outskirts nearby a forest with abundance of resources or else, she wouldn’t know how to keep the ice dragon not hungry to start chasing after humans. That said, isn’t it time for the dragon to start self-wean himself from overly attaching himself to her and get out of the ‘nest’ so to speak?
“You’re an adult dragon right now! An ice dragon, one of the largest ones of your kind! You know you can’t live down here forever!” Krul barks as she gives some ‘tough love’ lecture to the large dragon looming before her. Anyone would probably faint if they were in her position right now but Krul raised him since he was a hatchling and his pseudo-mother of sorts, thus the effect is loss on her. She loves the dragon, yes, adores him even! But she knows for a fact that Ferid can’t exactly live here near human civilization too long before there is going to be wanted poster for a loose dragon wandering nearby and as if she’s going to let her darling dragon become pin cushion for fearful humans!
Krul stomps her foot on the ground in frustration, befitting of her small appearance yet not of her age. “You go up in those mountains this instance and stay up there for a week! It’s time you learn some self-efficiency on your own! How do you expect to go back to your own kind if you can’t even act like a proper dragon?!”
{Hi, everyone! So if anyone is wondering, it’s kind obvious I haven’t been tending the blog for a long time and only popping every once in a while. Mostly it’s due to school and real life. And I feel bad because I do read all of your asks after some time but since there is a lot and it’s been quite a while, I’ve deleted all of them to get a fresh start.
Speaking of fresh start, I have revamp the blog a little bit so fresh start everywhere! Lol. Anyway, here I’m rambling. Hopefully, I can poke in more often.}
Heels clicked against marble floors as Shinoa walked through the halls of the elaborate and rather pristine mansion. The golden accents on her white cape sparkled as she moved with each quickened step, eager to get to where she was going.
It’s been too long. She thought, her steps getting faster. I miss her. it wasn’t long before the lilac haired girl started to run, easily dodging and moving around the vampires standing in her way. She didn’t stop, running up the stairs, around corner after corner, hallway after hallway, until finally she reached the tall double doors. It took her a moment to catch her breath, brushing her skirt down and adjusting her cape to try and look presentable, she was about to see royalty after all. Straightening her back and letting out a slow breath, she pushed the door open.
Red stretched across the ground, leading all the way up the small three steps and to a large red and gold accented chair. It was what was in the chair that had butterflies fluttering around in the younger vampires stomach. The Queen of vampires. The beautiful and powerful 3rd progenitor Krul Tepes sat slouched in her chair as usual, making Shinoa giggle. Typical Krul. She thought as her gaze became gentle and filled with love.
“My Queen,” she called as she sauntered up to the last step on the stairs. “It’s been a long time hasn’t it?” knowing full well Krul didn’t like it when Shinoa treated her like a queen, she knelt down in front of her anyways, reaching out and taking the pink haired womans hand to kiss the back of it, but her lips never left that soft pale skin.
“I’ve missed you, Krul” her eyes looked up and straight into ruby colored irises, a smirk stretching across the consorts lips.
I’m sorry for being gone for so long.
Krul wrinkles her nose at the formal greeting, something Shinoa knows all too well about her pet peeve but still uses it to tease her. She never liked it when the people she cared, which are far but a few, address her like that. Especially when they’re alone with no one watching and judging them for showing such affection that are unlike-- unbefitting of a vampire.
“Indeed, it has been a long time. I almost miss your mischief making.” She hums and plays along, watching her lovely wife taking her hand and those soft lips she missed so much touching her skin. With the same hand, Krul lifts it out of her hold to trace her wife’s mouth. “I almost miss hearing your cheeky words.”
Then the queen leans closer as if to press her lips against her consort’s, but stops just barely a breath away to switch her direction to kissing her cheek. Her mouth leading up from the side of her lover’s face to the tip of her ear. Krul sweetly murmurs, “But I certainly miss being close to you like this, my dear... Welcome home, Shinoa.”
