I know I posted this a few days ago and it feels weird to reblog photos of myself, but I just really like this photo of me. I’m slowly starting to gain confidence with my looks recently and even though I still have my moments where I completely hate myself and the way I look and I worry about what others think of me and the way I look, I’d say I’m doing a damn good job for myself for someone who has spent most of their life feeling like their not good enough in any way. ‘Tis a wonderful feeling that it’s becoming more dominant over the negative thoughts. GUYS. HEY GUYS. LOVE YOSELF. Okie. I’m done. 😊

Petition to have Tumblr actually do something about porn blog bots following users.

• It’s annoying. • It gives an imperfect metric for how many followers you have. (I would estimate about 25% of my “followers” are porn blogs run by bots). • It makes pulling up your activity page iffy even if you use Tumblr strictly for SFW content. • It’s problematic for individuals who have struggled with sex and/or pornography addictions, especially since many of the blog names are not obviously porn names, causing you to preview the blog. • It exposes minors to illegal and harmful content.

And to many of us: • It’s disgusting. • it’s degrading to human beings, especially women. • It makes Tumblr a less classy, less reputable place.

Please share this if you agree this is a serious problem.

Three years ago, my dog went viral on Imgur and Reddit, thanks to this picture I took right after she’d yanked down a post from the front of our house with her bare strength.

But like the image above says, this is not a good post.

That dog above, the one that made so many people laugh, her name is Eva, and she’s my 7-year-old lab. She was just diagnosed with canine lymphoma.

Without chemo, she only has 3 months left with us. But her oncologist has given her a good prognosis with chemotherapy. She could live to see her 9th, 10th, and even 11th birthday.

Which means more years of this happy, ridiculous puppy.

The price to extend her life? $8500.

I nearly died when I saw the number. I’m paying off 4 student loans right now, and my parents are in insurmountable debt. I thought, this is it, we’re screwed. In between crying spells and anxiety attacks, I realized what my choices were: give up and let Eva go in the next 3 months, or crowdfund my ass off.

Internet: you’ve done it before, now I’m begging you, do it again. Spread Eva like wildfire. She deserves a second chance. She deserves the extra time, and all the fun and happiness she’ll have in that time.
