I have a lot of old art that I haven't posted, so here is one of them!

When caught in trap, some coyotes will chew off their own limbs to escape. When I lived with my abusive parents, that innate, desperate urge to escape deeply resonated with me and drew this as an outlet.

Now since I've gone no-contact with them, some trauma responses and symptoms have appeared but I can finally heal. Anyways here! Maybe this might help somebody...

I've been thinking of that Louis Wain drawing, "I'm happy because everyone loves me." It gives me a lot of hope as someone whose in a unfortunate situation struggling with mental health. It truly makes be believe that I can be happy too and it makes me want to draw happy cats.
