While working on some parent and merc art I had thoughts on whether or not to include headcanon parents for those who don't have any. And on that train of thought I realized that in the decade of me being into tf2 I don't think I've ever seen fic, art, or hc in which Medic had parents that he liked or got along with lol And I decided to be different in the most unhinged way possible and just go... "yeah he has two dads, yeah they're both weird scientists, yeah he's a test tube haunted slime baby, yeah his parents are Egon Spengler and Hebert West - the two pop culture icons he's heavily based off of" This is incredibly indulgent to nobody else but me lol - but now it's out there - and now this explains my personal hc that the medigun beam works like the proton stream in ghost busters, it locks into your soul

Re-Animator is a 1985 horror/comedy movie that's based on H.P Lovecraft's short stories of Herbert West, the re-animator. It's a more modern take on the stories.

The movie is about a med school student Daniel Cain who is enjoying his perfect little life with his fiancée, Megan Halsey. Sucks to be them tho, Herbert West moves in and starts re-animating every dead thing he sees and really wants Dan to join him. It goes so very wrong. Dan is not having a good time. Herbert is living his best life. He is a menace and cannot be stopped (He very much should be, tho).

It's a gory 80's movie with deadpan humor and great acting. Jeffrey Combs is THE Herbert West.

This is another one of those movies that I just LOVE the tone of

Who else thought they were going to reveal that her dad or her step mom murdered her mom?

All just the entire drug trip sequence is GREAT

I love that they just...never take the earring out.

I think this might be the best acting Cole Sprouse has ever done, and my guess is its because they don't let him talk until the very end.

This movies just ~ Silly ~ and I like it.

Also man, poor Taffy. She didn't deserve none of this.

Thoughts On 15 Cameras (2023)

Spoilers ahead if literally anyone cares.

Why did they even make this movie?

....Okay I don't know if I'm in the minority here or not but Cameron is waaaaay more fucking unsettling to me than Gerald could ever hope to be.

Well. At least you two seem to like each other more than the couple in the first movie.

Wow they, they really like using that one clip from the fake netflix documentary huh.

I....I feel like someone else would have found that room before Cameron, it's not that hard to find.

You're just...not going to take care of that spider problem?

I actually think someone finding some of Gerald's old spying equipment and slowly turning into another creepy landlord was actually a pretty good idea and I kind of hate that it was wasted on a movie where it turns out that Gerald was supposed to be alive this entire time.

Also, Cameron, you can clearly still bang on the walls or at least knock yourself over enough to get the little door open. You can be found.

Overall like...I dunno...5/10?

Thoughts on Home Sweet Home (2013)

Wow! This wins most boring slasher!

I wanna say that this movie was trying to go for an emotional angle but...oh boy did they fail

You know what would have actually really helped us feel more connected with the characters? SEEING THEM BEFORE ALL THIS SHIT WENT DOWN!

I am so, so sorry to The Strangers. I thought the couple in that movie was boring and basic.

Girl, honestly, he was helping you out. Who the wears lace thigh highs with a cheerleader uniform?

Also, seeing them before all this happened probably would have made the killer reveal feel more substantial.

There is one (1) great shot in this movie. and it's when she's trying to figure out which room the sound is coming from at the bottom of the stairs.

Overall, Zzzzz/10
