i asked you to stop making jokes at my expense and to stop joking about suicide because that was a trigger for me and it’s difficult for me to read sarcasm. you said you’d try and never actually did, and i listed that as a reason for me breaking up with you.
what i took issue with was the way you responded to me setting boundaries. you used your mental illness to get out of respecting my triggers and to demand more attention and time from me, and i obliged because i didnt want you to resort to doing anything drastic. this was hugely detrimental to my mental health, so i took the route of self-preservation and broke up with you.
for the record, i have never accused you of abuse or said that you should die. can you say the same?
