We gotta dissociate feminism from terfs it's gotten to the point where any outspoken conversation on women's rights or centering a discussion around women for five minutes begets accusations of something sounding terfy
who is the real bioessentialist people who believe there is something wrong with you when your character doesn't match some arbitrary cultural standard expected of your sex so you have to transition (trans activists)
or people who think that your character is not tied to your sex?("""terfs""")
y are you asking me if you can invite xy to the party, it's not my party and I don't even know this person, I could not care less???

Is anyone surprised anymore?
absolutely no one is surprised who isn't too retarded to use google. humans didn't evolve pale skin until the agricultural revolution, there was no nutritional need for pale skin before that as a hunter gatherer diet provides enough vitamin d
People started settling in Scandinavia and calling it home soon after the region emerged out of the last ice age around 12'000 years ago.
Archaeological finds show that people lived in the area 11'700 years ago.
These people were known as the Maglemosian culture, a stone age people who lived in forest and wetland environments, using fishing and hunting tools made from wood, bone, and flint microliths.
However, since we don't have genetics on that culture, we will go with the next, the Kongemose culture.
A 2015 genetic study published in Nature included an analysis of six hunter-gatherers buried at Motala between ca. 6000 BC and 5700 BC.
Of the four males surveyed, three carried the paternal haplogroup I2a1 or various subclades of it, while the other carried I2c.
With regards to mtDNA, four individuals carried subclades of U5a, while two carried U2e1.
I2a1 is a European haplogroup.
I2c is a European haplogroup.
U5a is a European haplogroup.
U2e1 is a Middle Eastern haplogroup.
Mitochondrial haplogroups are collections of similar haplotypes defined by combinations of single nuclear polymorphisms (SNPs) in mtDNA inherited from a common ancestor.
These haplogroups are formed as a result of the sequential accumulation of mutations through maternal lineages.
So these people have been in Europe for thousands of years, for enough time that their genetics have drifted far enough to be closer to modern Europeans than Sub-Saharan Africans.
This means they spent thousands of years in an Ice Age Europe, while some went to a more temperate middle east and comingled there.
Oh, and that study you've "Googled," doesn't actually disprove the first Europeans had light skin, it simply proves they didn't have the modern gene responsible for the current European complexion.
However, other studies have suggested that the two genes most associated with lighter skin colour in modern Europeans originated in the Near East and the Caucasus about 22'000 to 28'000 years ago, and were present in Anatolia by 9000 years ago.
Do you know why? It's because of the Ice Age, light skin is an evolutionary response to less sun exposure, the longer a people spend in a region lacking in direct sunlight, the lighter their skin becomes, this is to aid the body in absorbing scant bits of light to create vitamin D, dark skin struggles with this is the northern hemisphere, because dark skin is meant to block sunlight, not be more efficient at absorbing it.
This is why modern black people who move to the northern hemisphere develop health issues due to vitamin D deficiencies, and why they need to supplement their diets with vitamin D.
Now, why would I go on this tirade, oh yes, because Sweden, or more accurately, all of Europe, had been like the arctic circle for the thousands of years, so these first Swedes couldn't have been dark as coal, if you wanted to give them a Mediterranean complexion, sure, but not Sub-Saharan.
Especially if you also factor in the fact these Europeans have had many generations that had comingled with Neanderthal, another light skinned Homo species that lived in Europe and Asia during the Ice Age.
The modern equivalent of the conditions these people would have lived in is like that of the Inuit or Eskimos of Canada or Greenland, but clearly there's no need for the Eskimo and Inuit to be light skin, as their diets supplement their need for vitamin D from the Sun.
I swear, these people who go "just Google it," have no idea how to do actual research into a subject, they're just here to defend woke historical revisionism.
I'm not a "woke historical revisionist", I studied biology and this is what I was tought in our human evolution classes, that the catastrophical nutrient deficiency following the invention of agriculture was the main driving factor for the evolution of pale skin. Black people needing supplements in northern countries doesn't disprove that theory, it supports it, as obv they don't live as hunter gatherers either?
But yeah I couldn't be arsed to check further right now bc it's late af, I'm tired from work and it's just a tumblr post.
Thanks for providing more info on this topic, the points you bring up are actually intresting and made me curious, will look more into it.
