As much as I want to come back to this muse, I never got interactions on any RP blogs ever so IDK why I’d even consider getting back into RP

Although I’m not coming back to this blog ( or likely, this muse ) I’ve moved on to a new fandom. As per usual, my new muse does have an FMA:B verse, so if you want to write with me you don’t have to know much about Nanbaka.

Fun Fact: FMAB drew the Xingese bodyguard uniform incorrectly

In the 3rd ending animation and during the episodes taking place during the Promised Day, the uniform is drawn with the top being a solid mass of shirt

But if you read the manga, its clear the top is actually supposed to open at the front like a martial arts gi.

This isn’t a case of simple anime-manga differences either, it’s a legitimate error because the anime drew the uniform correctly in episode 18, when Fu is shown preparing to escort Maria Ross to Xing.

Oh the things you catch when you obsessively search for references.

I was/still am planning on doing a neater and more comprehensive post on the parts of the bodyguard uniform, but basically the hood is a removable, separate article of clothing.

So at this point it’s pretty well known that in the manga, Greed has a moment where he apologizes to Al for being insensitive because he thought he was talking to Al about a dead relative

But did you know that in the manga there was a scene that echoed this with Ling? Except it was Al (and Winry) making the ‘dead relative’ assumption, when they asked about Ling’s father. 

I just think it’s interesting that for all that Ling paralleled Greed, he was on the opposite side of the same type of gag. Maybe that was the point.
