• KURAPIKA IS CONFLICTED-

• For one, Kurapika doesn’t want a lover. He doesn’t want to put a loved one in danger due to his dangerous work. Someone may come after you for ransom or take revenge out on him. He knows what it feels like, the way to completely break someone is to take away their loved ones.

• But on the second hand. He does want a lover, his job and goals have taken a toll on him. He’ll get colder and colder as the days move on. He doesn’t want that. He never wanted any of this. A lover to help keep him calm and keep that warmth and humanity inside of him is what he wants.

CHROLLO-

• Honestly this man was scared the first time he heard the dog like sound come from your lips.

•He had to look around to see who you were barking at because he was baffled at the thought of it being him.

•He didn’t bring it up. He thought it was just a one time outburst that you couldn’t control for some reason.

• That was until it had happened again. This time he was in the middle of speaking to you about a new book he had picked up.

• It kinda hurt his feelings. He thought it was negative thing as if saying “Shut up” without saying it.

• Again he didn’t bring it up,although it left him hurt.

• It wasn’t until he saw you did it with the other troupe members as well. When speaking with Shizuku; It randomly came from your throat again.

• All in all he was glad he wasn’t the only one who got this from you. As random as it was it was quite funny once he got used to it.

•He enjoys this random quirk of yours and doesn’t Address it.

HISOKA-

• He barks back.

• He’ll stare at your confused face and start laughing seeing it wasn’t something you expected.

• You’ll have him in confusion for about two seconds before he barks back at you, louder than you did to him.

• He most likely takes it as you trying to assert dommance and of course Hisoka isn’t going to have that.

•He thinks it’s quite funny to just hear random barks throughout his day.

• He’ll tease the hell out of you. One of your nicknames now is “Pup~”

• He finds it so amusing that he starts doing it too.

• He thinks it’s funny seeing you tense up and jump when he barks at you. Then He’ll laugh up a storm seeing your red face.

• He does feel bad when he accidentally makes you spill food or a drink on yourself or the floor. He’ll take you out for food instead to make it up to you.

• That won’t stop him from scaring you in public and ruining your meal he just bought for you.

• Oh how tables have turned.

ILLUMI-

• “W-why are you like this?”

• “I request you to stop immediately”

• Illumi doesn’t show his emotions; Much at all but you could slightly see the look of discomfort in his eyes when you barked at him.

• Unlike the other two, Illumi asks questions immediately.

• “Did you just bark?” “Why? For what reason?” “Are you okay?” “Should I call a doctor to check this out?”

• You explain to him that it just happens randomly and he nods at you as if he understands.

• Mintues later he suggests that he should torture you and brainwash you so you could refrain from barking.

• You kindly decline, holding your lips in fear as now you had to control your urges.

• It happens once more out of random and Illumi stares at you tilting his head.

• “Please don’t do that.”

• Illumi doesn’t get it at all, and he doesn’t get why you won’t take up his offer to get rid of this habit.

• You’ve tried to make them quieter but the ears of an assassin aren’t a joke.

• You barely whisper a small “Yip” and he turns his neck at you at a high speed.

• “Stop it.”

• Illumi is the only one who doesn’t find your outbursts funny. He won’t help you ‘get rid of it’ without your permission, but that doesn’t stop him from telling you to “Stop.” Every chance he gets.

• He has defiantly offered you to put a pin in your head that would tell you to stop it every time the urge came.

• You kindly decline and try to hold in your urges, these random outbursts of barks won’t be tolerated by Illumi Zoldyck.

• Hisoka takes this as a disrespectful action as well.

• He’d be confused at why you hissed at him.

• With Illumi’s backwards way of thinking especially with it being a relationship. He’s the dominant one and won’t take ANY disrespect from his significant other.

• Even when you explain to him that you didn’t mean it like that, he doesn’t care.

• Maybe you can get away with barking but Hissing defiantly won’t do.

• He will not allow you to hiss at him or anyone in general, He’ll force you to break this habit.

• If it slips out on accident, you better get’a running.

• Don’t pack your bags, just go. Because most likely he’s already behind you trying to get a pin in your head to break this habit.

Illumi Relationship HCs

Needle boy is best boy♡

If you tear a piece of clothing then Illumi will quickly leave to go get a sewing kit and sew it back up in silence before going about his business again.

He really likes watching reality TV where some sort of renovation or craftsmanship is taking place so be prepared for that to be playing for hours straight every day.

He'll take you out to fancy restaurants and spoil you with gifts. He saw it in a movie once and he thought the girl looked happy and wanted to see you like that.

Illumi's favorite part of you is your hands. He likes cradling them and finds it peculiar that they make him feel so tranquil. Sometimes you'll catch him just blankly staring at you which may have seemed a bit creepy in the beginning but you've come to realize he's watching how your hands move during whatever task you're doing.

He'll tell you he loves you extremely early on and it's good to tell him "No you don't." He won't take offense but instead think over his actions and feelings in order to see why it may be too soon to say that.

He flinches away from soft touches, he's not used to them and doesn't fully understand why you would do that. Slowly he'll get used to them but in the beginning a nice "I'm going to touch you now" can go a long way.

He'll think you don't love him back for awhile. You act nothing like his parents and they've made it clear what love means(at least to them). Eventually you'll have to explain to him that you treat him with kindness because you love him and that will need a bit of time to process, especially since it goes against his parents' teachings.

His biggest insecurity in the relationship is you thinking lowly of him. He constantly strives to be better in you two's relationship but honestly doesn't know how.

Mentioning his parents is a no-go, at least for awhile. The idea of his parents lying to him, manipulating him, etc, is something he will adamantly refuse to the point where your life will be put in danger. So just avoid that topic until he starts to realize the truth himself.

Everything you do is interesting to Illumi. He could, and has, listened to you talk for hours. He's never had someone in his life like this and he even starts to slowly talk more and more about trivial things himself.

He's not one to start physical contact but he does look forward to whenever you do. It'll take a lot of work to get him to the point of doing such a thing and he'll be awkward when first attempting it. He prefers to just tell you if he wants to be touched and then have you do it.

He asks Hisoka for relationship advice which the magician happens to be surprisingly good at. You've even caught them chatting away once while building card towers(even if Hisoka was more the one talking and Illumi was just trying to make his towers taller than Hisoka's).

Bakugou being tied up and muzzled on the podium is no laughing matter

I already wrote about that part in my post on his and Amajiki’s mental health issues some weeks ago. I knew it was gonna happen when the episode would come out, but really, don’t treat this scene as a funny one. It’s not something to make fun of. Bakugou is emotionally unstable, and has mental health issues that need to be taken care of. But it doesn’t make him an animal or a dangerous evil being that should be restrained and publicly humiliated like that. He’s a 15 years old boy dealing with complexes and anxiety, therefore making his behavior violent. What he needs, especially as a teen, is mental care, not being mocked and humiliated as a punishment. This moment will have consequences later, and I thank Hori for that.

It’s not a funny moment. He’s dehumanized, treated as less than human in front of the whole society, and nobody say a thing. Even All Might just stay here and thinks Bakugou’s face is quite something, forcing the medal on him. And that’s a problem, both in the manga and in our reality. The trope of people being too emotional and angry to be rational, talked to and treated with care unfortunately participates in domestic abuse, and a lot of systemic oppression, mostly against mentally ill people and women (especially black women). Look at how Best Jeanist treats him later.

Is that how you treat a kid you’re responsible of? Bakugou respects Best Jeanist; he doesn’t flare up and shout at him even if the man is being very rude and harsh against him. But because he saw how Bakugou behaved and was treated at UA sports festival, Best Jeanist made assumptions on him and didn’t even wait to meet and talk to him. He nominated him just because he wanted to ‘reform’ him. As adults, people of UA and Best Jeanist failed to take care of Bakugou. Aizawa recognized it, and apologized later.

And this is no laughing matter. It will have consequences later, as Hori makes sure to show it, both metaphorically and literally with this notion of ‘being shackled by people and society’.

So, please consider it’s wrong that this situation is perceived as funny and unavoidable when he’s only a 15 years old kid. Bakugou angrily brushing his teeth after oversleeping is funny (kinda, he’s still frustrated after all). Bakugou being dehumanized and demonized by everyone, especially responsible adults who should handle the situation with care, is not.
