slowly he reaches out again , adjusting it with an artist’s dexterity , smooth and quick. ❛ it`s quite beautiful on you. reminds me of a short story i read somewhere, in fact. ❜

She remained silent for a few seconds, nodding her head ever so slightly at the description of how the flower contrasted with her. She could only imagine how much the spot of color must've stood out. It probably stood out like a flashlight in the middle of a pitch black room at midnight with no moon or stars. She'd never enjoyed wearing many bright colors, she liked them, but never thought they went well with her. She'd prefer to blend in with the background than stand out. Call her antisocial or perhaps even a bit shy, but attention wasn't something she handled well.
