Being picky, high standards or demanding excellence
Creating something great is not something that comes by easy. A focus on detail and demanding excellence for everything that is created is what makes you stand out.
I am known by many of those I work with to have highs standards. Often times that can be viewed as picky and challenging to work with in the creative process.
As a creative I'm sure many of you deal with that same misperceptions.
How do we change that view for those creating along side us?
Defining excellence in the beginning helps those understand the vision and what make your projects successful. Spending time on the front end, will help teammates and other creatives understand why you demand excellent, have high standards or are just picky.
