You can clear the cache of the Store app of Windows 8/RT to increase its performance and also to speed up or refresh the app installation. Clearing Store cache will refresh app installation and also speed up the Store itself.

One more point, your Windows 8 RT Store may become freeze after change the default system language from ENG-GB to ENG-US. You can try to clear all the Store cache... OMG... Then, you will get the screen to get your Windows 8.1 RT preview...

The working solution. I will not go into very detail because it is risky. 1. remove the cab only IF you installed it before DISM.exe /Online /Remove-Package...

God, just try to upgrade my Windows RT device to Windows RT 8.1 preview. It's got error to claim my OS language not supported by this preview. Finally, I follow above link and successfully change default language from ENG-GB to ENG-US.

Hyper-V Error "the hypervisor is not running"

After run the startrep.exe (Startup repair) tool to fix OS boot up issue, got error message "the hypervisor is not running" when starting up the Hyper-V ...

Open Command Prompt as administrator.

Run "BCDEdit /set hypervisorlaunchtype auto".

Restart server.

BOOTMGR is missing

Here's the procedure which I have tried to fix BOOTMGR is missing error.

Reboot server with Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 DVD.

Select Repair.

Select Command Prompt.

CD X:\Windows\Boot\DVD\EFI

REN BCD BCD.OLD

X:

X:\Sources\recovery\StartRep.Exe

After automatic repair is done, reboot server.
