I must deeply apologize for my lack of activity here. December was a hectic month for me due to coursework and such, and I know I have drafts here to do and I have neglected such for a long time. But I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things now that things have relaxed quite a bit for me also.

If any of you still watch this blog -- and I won't be surprised if you don't due to my inactivity -- if you want to have my MSN/Skype to contact/get to know me then feel free to message me!

Daymon had never visited the northern continent beforehand, having always spent most of his life in Southern Nippon. But, he knew that if he was to complete his quest to find the Techniques, he would have to venture northbound. So, tossing a Mermaid Coin into the nearby fountain, he dived in hoping to get to the northern continent… which he did, although somehow, it felt like he was in the past.

Oki could not possibly discern why an individual would wish to seek knowledge in a land plagued by beasts. And so he could not believe the innocence that some travelers retained. Treating them all like the very hellions that stalked the frosty plains. The moment the other had strayed too far into his own territory, he would be met with the point of Kutone to his very throat. Almost concealed by the bitter winds that beckoned snow from Ezofuji's peaks, Oki had rushed to intimidate the stranger and to study intentions.

Minatsuki looked up to the male who was approaching her from down the hall with a confused expression overcoming her features, he wasn’t an inmate or a guard.. so why was he down here in G-block? “Who the fuck are you?” she asked as she brought her juice box up to her lips to drink from.

There was a language that this female spoke that did not make entire sense to him. And so her vulgar terms had went blissfully unnoticed. There was no trace of reason of why Oki had strayed into this area and no inkling of how he came to be there. Nevertheless, he remained guarded and had Kutone securely strapped to the belt of his tribal garments. His cerulean guise masking any expression he had etched upon his features. 

"Oki of the Oina Tribe." came his rugged verse. An accent tinting his words which only made it known that english wasn't necessarily his first language. But he would not be hindered by this, standing tall amid the foreign yet modern environment he had discovered. "---Where am I?"

What compelled these people to stray into troubled lands? Kamui was an artic expanse that was struggling in it's fight against the twin demons that were perched atop Ezofuji. The clockwork terrors whose towers loomed over the very valleys and spread their tyrannical rule. Oki had left the comforts of his tribe, having stolen the sacred blade that held the key to liberty. To bring the fight to the demons that crawled down from those frosty peaks so that Kutone would radiate a brilliant silver.

He needn't regard these people as friends when a friendly face was scarce in these lands. Standing amid the roaring blizzard, winds bellowing and fighting with the very folds of his garments. Individuals whom were not used to the chilly bite of the Northern Lands would not last without a fire to console them. But his blade was unsheathed, ready for a bout if the foreigner proved to be hostile. Demons or not, he was willing to cut down any that threatened to ruin the tranquility that the Oina strove to protect.

How long had it been, Oki wondered. Since being amid the comforts of Wep'Keer and accepted by those whom once valued the gifts of the Northern Lands. The disappearance of Kutone had come with grief, however. His own palms clutching the sacred hilt and rushing forth into the demons blizzard that bestowed little signs of softening. Was it pride or pure selfishness that flung a prized warrior into the fray? Beckoned by the urge to make a blade glow a brilliant silver, Oki needed to abandon all that would attempt to hinder him.

And so he severed the connection with his people to live among the pulsing frost. A homespun hut for a dwelling and only a divine object for company. Visitors were rare but monsters were abundant. Every shadow that loomed ahead would be treated all the same with a sharpened point poised toward the intruder. The snapping baltic storms would conceal the other, eyes narrowing beneath the guise as he struggled to discern whom lingered beyond the zephyr. He did not call out, nor did he approach just yet. If only he knew that it was the great Samickle whom sauntered within. Light aquas having concealed him well, but Oki merely awaited further movement to aid in his study.

ooc: I will be heading off to bed now, but I wanted to say thank you to those who currently follow me and that opening this blog just today has proven to be fruitful. I have both god-of-heavens-light's and descendantofthesungod's replies in my drafts and I will get to them when I return.
