Fuyuhiko is no longer affiliated with the Yakuza and he's not even associated with his parents anymore, he dropped the clan entirely. (He went as far as to attempt to fake his death, which it's implied to not have worked.) **Peko was involved in this, running away with him as she's more loyal to him than the Yakuza. However, Fuyuhiko decides it's better for Peko's own improvement if they separate. And so, Peko flees the country, temporarily if not permanently moving to Novoselic and assisting Sonia.
Kazuichi has complete ownership of his family bike shop and is working on enhancing it and shifting it into something new. To get money up for that, he has more than one side job. One being a waiter at a diner.
Gundham spends his time dedicating himself to volunteer work and even is employed at a pet shop; he also still has his blogging website running where he's continuously pouring out new information for animal lovers much like himself. Sometimes Kaz helps out with volunteer stuff too, as does Fuyu.
