So, apparently, my Tumblr account is three years old today
"With Pergenn we go forward"
Commission for FearAndCoyotes on Telegram, featuring his character in 1812 US Marine uniform
Portraits of the President of Pirusavia, Edvard Pergenn (left) and the President of Panantra, Pourouadi Souprionot (right), during the former's state visit to Panantra on September 27, 1987.
"Samgurtian Oil Workers"
Special artwork for this year's May Day.
Featuring a couple of workers of Samneft/SNG, the Samgurtian People's Republic's state-owned oil and gas company. Substantial oil reserves have been discovered in Samgurtia since 1908, with the industry partially nationalized during the liberal socialist First Samgurtian P.R. (1912-1949). Then, it became fully taken over in 1953, four years after the communists won the civil war. Oil production increased following the gradual liberalization of the economy in the 70s-80s and by 1992, it contributed to 20% of the republic's exports.
"It's these small moments that matter"
(Originally a piece I posted in Bluesky and FurAffinity for this year's pride month special. June has passed, but I think there's nothing wrong in posting this artwork to my Tumblr right now.)
Being the capital city of Eterhall, managing Hagenhall's traffic all day long could be stressful. While not a massive metropolis like Corton in Brundia or Tornava in the USPR, the city's streets has always been busy since the early 20th century. It owes its worth to its economic significance as an industrial port city, which only increased since the people's republic's marketization in 1976.
Maintaining order on the roads is the task of Færdselspolitiet (traffic police), or officially Færdselslovens Korps (FK; Traffic Law [Enforcement] Corps), a subdivision within Folkspolitiet i Folkerepublikken Eterhall (People's Police of the People's Republic of Eterhall).
Senior Constables Aage Frandsen and Nils Høy are almost always together in their duties. They would find a way to be with each other most of the time, whether subconsciously or not, while staying professional. When it's the time for them to go home, Aage and Nils would often walk together, strolling around Hagenhall's landmarks before going their own ways in the central subway station. This time, however, they're going home much later at night, when the station has less people around. Nils stops by a nearby payphone to call somebody, whether it's his family, neighbor, or his apartment's superintendent—it's definitely his business.
Nils is aware that his comrade is standing behind him. As if they realize that they're alone in the corridor, they felt something in their hearts and as the call is over, they give in to their feelings. It's warm but silent, brief but profound. Maybe Aage can take some of his time to visit Nils as well. It's Friday night, after all.
As both constables are off the clock, they have the benefit of expressing their deep-seated infatuation for each other, without caring much about the veneer of professionalism. Even though fairly, they should not fear much about it—they're neither in the harshly theocratic Visonia or the ardently anti-revisionist Niverdia—but in Eterhall.
"The point, however, is to amend it"
The trilogical icons had been the staple of all communist parties and movements in the Levropian Continent. However, with the death of Rukov in 1952 and the subsequent rise of the reformist faction within the All-Union Communist Party of the Sovereign Rada, a lot of things changed. Premier Yevgeny Zagornov, who ruled from 1954 to 1960, passed policies to distance the party and the Union from Rukov's totalitarianism, which resulted in an era known as "de-Rukovization."
A lot of objects and paraphernalia pertaining to Rukov were removed from public view outside of educational settings. State, city, village, and street names were changed; some reverted back to its original name (i.e. Velikiy Rukov -> Mosvinov) or given a totally new name (i.e. Rukovozhd' -> Krasnaya Bereza). The national anthem of USPR's third stanza, which praised Rukov, was removed.
The changes were, needless to say, significant, with some anti-revisionist groups and factions emerging worldwide. However, Zagornov's gradual liberalization, followed by a more overarching economic open-up by his successor, Vladimir Voloshinov (premier from 1960 to 1985), led to better material conditions which brought a successful image campaign for the reformists. Above image is the depiction of what the icons would look like in a pro-USPR communist party or organization outside the Union.

"An Erminig hag ar Binioù Braz"
Ermines (both the animal and the heraldic object) are the symbol of the Breton people. Here, I drew an ermine in Breton traditional clothing and holding a Binioù braz, a type of Breton bagpipe. In the background waves Gwenn-ha-du ("White and Black"), the Breton flag.

He might be a Georgian in summer, but in winter, he'll become an Arminean
(Okay, but actually, there's a theory that the word "ermine" used to refer to Armenia)
I always loved Triangle Strategy's art style
So I wanted to do a piece in it's style! This was actually an older piece for that Artist MMO meme a while back, but I've since then touched up on it to make it more accurate to the game's style
